making a pipe from an antler?
DesertBull replied to SilentButDeadly's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
The easy way would be to band saw the antler length wise and hollow both halves with a dremel, then glue them back together. Don't be a bogart. -
Cool! I have a friend in Cali that drew the late westside hunt a few years ago. He had 2 points. He killed a hog with Mr Adams too.

5 days in Ketchikan.

I don't have any big STUD trophys like you killers do, but I have some that are cherished for the experience and the effort required to get 'em. 2007 Antelope 1st archery Coues Alaska Bear

4 Seasons and the Polaris dealer in Globe both have way better prices than the city boys.

Is this our next president?

Obama is the scariest candidate EVER. He is in favor of banning all semi-auto weapons, letting the UN impose a tax on the USA, and many other things that will jeopardize our sovereignty as a nation. Oh, and Hillary, I do not want your "free health care". You get what you pay for and I will gladly pay for my own Dr and my own insurance. -

Because it's not all about opportunity. Why would they care if the tags sell out during the draw or after, as long as they $ell?
-
Yeah, there ya go. Then folks can bitch even more about how badly G&F manages the resource Wouldn't it be something if a guy kills a buck and posts the photos here. Then he goes about being "untruthful" on the survey card, and G&F happens to match up the two. Or perhaps they compare taxidermists' reports to survey cards? I wonder if they would have any legal recourse where something like falsifying information would kick in?? BTW, "untruthful" is like lying, no? But it's only a "little white lie." -TONY No, untruthful is lying. Or as a famous guy named Bill once said..."It depends on what your meaning of is is"?
-
There is even more incentive to be untruthful now. A achery deer hunter might be tempted to say they killed their deer in a different unit, in an effort to try and keep their archery hunt in their favorite unit from going away or going to a draw.

They should have mandatory check in for everything, just like they do for bear, archery deer, etc

I will be writing in Ron Paul's name. Not voting is ridiculous. There are other things on the ballot besides President. -
Just put a leash on Grong and follow him around. Just don't let the other dogs sniff his butt.

Hey, is it possible to get any of your shirts in long sleeve?

Agree 100% I don't know what they are waiting on.

SWEET. Great coat too for a fall bear. No elk tag for me this year, so a bear hunt is on my must do list this fall.

Anyone know when they are going to re-open the Beeline?

People are selling them because the price of diesel is not going to come down. I think a big reason is this down turned market. Lots of people are getting laid off right now. Try buying a 4 or 6 cyl truck right now. They are flying off the lot. Gas will never be under $3.00 / gallon again. Wait until Toyota comes out with their 6 cyl turbo diesel here in the states. 30+ miles gal. I guarantee it will be the #1 selling truck. http://www.autoweb.com.au/cms/A_53040/titl...ewsarticle.html

Global temperatures 'to decrease' By Roger Harrabin BBC News environment analyst Global temperatures will drop slightly this year as a result of the cooling effect of the La Nina current in the Pacific, UN meteorologists have said. The World Meteorological Organization's secretary-general, Michel Jarraud, told the BBC it was likely that La Nina would continue into the summer. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/7329799.stm -
