Cool!

Very nice! I am hoping to get back there next fall myself.

http://www.azgfd.gov/artman/publish/article_643.shtml WHAT? Any changes in store for this year like there were last year? Example: messing with the archery hunts, trying to install more Nov archery elk tags, etc.
-
That's because it is too cold in November for the road hunters to get out of the truck.
-
There are only a few places left that you can pack in over 2 miles and not cross a road anyway, so what's the point? Wouldn't you be ticked if you packed all your gear into some hole and woke up on opening morning and found a 27' 5th wheel trailer with generator blaring, two ridges over? Don't ask me how I know.

Archery elk hunts now have worse odds than many late season rifle hunts. Wasn't like that a few years ago.

Good luck, I hope you find one. You and your dad-in-law are not the problem with road hunters. There is a 180 degree difference between needing to hunt from the vehicle and "just too dang lazy to leave the truck". One of the biggest things that bothers me about road hunters, is that there were alot of hunters who were willing to work hard that would love to have a tag but didn't get lucky in the draw. Like ME!

I prefer hunting by myself. I hunt as long as I want to, quit when I want to, go wherever I want to go, eat the food I like, etc. I have only a select handful of people that I share my hunting time with.

RIGHT ON!

I would road hunt him if I were you. Window rolled down Heater on full blast Can of "pop" between your legs Bag of Cheeto's on the dash
-
Terry, has CHD ever told you his views on youth hunts?
-
Road hunters. You can ignore e-scouters.
-
That is all. Good Night.
-
Yep. I agree with that. The unit we were in is criss-crossed with roads and two-tracks. Most areas you cannot walk more than a mile without crossing a drivable road. So, we were not surprised about the road hunters, just surprised about their lack of common courtesy. We even witnessed road hunters making their own new roads!
-
I don't think they effect adult deer, but I believe they eat thier fair share of new borns.
-
They deserved the "one finger salute", but I did not stoop to that level.
-
When your son is getting ready to take a shot, off to the side of a two track road, and a road "hunter" sees this and decides to floor it to get in front of him before he can get the shot off, YOU SUCK!

Voting for a new Govenor
DesertBull replied to venadoslayer's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I will never vote for a liberal. There are more important issues than Game Commissions and over grazing. Like the fact that the liberals have been responsible for the deaths of 43,000,000 infants. Next time you are out at the store, the movies, Cabela's, etc, take a good hard look at some ones infant. Now, imagine a doctor plunging a scaple into the back of it's head and scrambling it's brains. Liberals call that "modern, progressive thinking", I call it babaric. Take a few minutes and look up some video on abortion. Look at how, as the surgeon's instrument enters the mother's womb, the baby tries to move away from it. Watch, as the baby is dismembered, how it shakes and trembles and how it's mouth opens wide trying to scream, then come back here and tell me that cows and "no tresspassing" signs are what is important during an election. -

We all see the need for a different Gov, I just don't her losing this election. I have already voted against her. -
Green is going to be fired within the next two weeks.

If the check clears, they consider that a successful hunt.

I have one and I recommend it 100%. If you don't like it, you can always sell it on here or Ebay and get 90% of your money back. I think you'll keep it though, especially if you carry a tri-pod and spotting scope. I carry the tripod in the gun scabbard and the scope in the side pocket. That leaves the entire main compartment for food, water and big binocs. It actually expands to 7,000 C.I. with the all the bells and whistles. good luck. -
