Anyone use the no-peep device? I just started using one and it is pretty cool. It's a little sensitive to adjust but once you have it dialed in, it's good. No more peep sight or rubber tubing. After about 100 shots or so, you find that you don't even look at the no-peep. Your anchor point is just memorized. Plus, you can shoot with both eyes open alot easier.

Is there still a big advantage, both cost and accuracy wise, to reloading? Seems as though all the good bullets are now being loaded at the factory, but it cost over $1 everytime you pull the trigger. What is the average cost of a reloaded round (Accubond, Interlock, Partition, etc), not counting the initial outlay for reloading equipment?

Can someone recommend a good gunsmith in the Phoenix/Mesa area? I need someone to check the chamber and bore of a rifle I have. If not in the Phx/Mesa area, I'd be willing to go to Prescott or Flagstaff. I'm in that area alot anyway. Thanks

I wouldn't spend a lot of $$$ building up the accuracy of the rifle. Your shots at Moose are going to be 100 yards or so most likely. It's not like you're going to be shooting across a 400 yard canyon at a 30" tall, 90lb Coues buck. You're going to be shooting across a 60 yard river at a 60" high, 850 lb bull Moose. If you are going to be in Brown Bear counntry, I would take the 300, just to be safe. Good luck and have fun!

They should just issue a lion tag with every deer, elk and pig tag they sell or give you the option of using your big game tag on a lion if you choose to do so.

I think as soon as you answer the first question - Do you apply for Mule Deer or Whitetail? - and you answer Mule Deer, you should not be allowed to answer the questions about the Whitetail hunts. The majority of the tags, and therefore the majority of the deer hunters, are primarily after Mule Deer. Why should they be influencing the whitetail hunts that they admittingly do not apply for? They should obviously be encouraged to give their opinion on the archery hunts, the proposed javelina hunts, etc.
