The problem is, everything is free unfortunately. If you ever went up redington pass, everyone and their brother on the east side would target practice up there for free, and they TRASHED a few areas. I ran into NFS up there one year while they were surveying the problem. I stopped and said, "Whattaya guys gonna do bout this garbage?" They said, "whattaya we suppose to do?" Then I suggested 1. Hand everyone that shoots there a garbage bag, it needs to be filled before that person leaves. They said they don't have the man power for that. I said do it every wknd. for just one month, then you'd be done for a bit. Either they would have the area clean, or they'd go somewhere else cause they didn't wanna work. 2. Charge a fee to go up the mountain. As much as I absolutely dread this thought, it worked well for Mount Lemmon. 3. No more target shooting. And as much as I dread this thought, that's exactly what they did.

Maybe it's just a down south thing.

So I'm headed to work today to Indio, CA. Coming from Tucson, I'm taking the 10 west forwards CA. Bout 8 miles before I hit US 60, I see this tank about 100 yds on the north side of I10. Guessing it's unit 44a. Pulled the rig over and snapped some shots with the cell (I know, they suck). Who got this tag? Was this a ram they passed? If so.... I wanna see the one that got killed.

I bought a Lion Tag @ Walmart yesterday and it was the same tag I have always bought in the past. Was it exact? Had a buddy who got one, it's similar but, they aren't universal with the punch on which species and cost. No big deal, just wondering exactly how many different kinds of tags for the same species are floating around. -
First you need to check the leftover list. It has changed and will probably help you narrow down a unit.

I got one I'm working on. Now if I could just finish the dang thing.

Shoot, they can't see anyways. That pig had the fate of your pops written all over it.

Dude, tags purchased at azgfd have the sticky, retailers dont. WTF? Much like the way they handled the end of year sales, price increases, jaguar, sheep, antelope....blah, blah, blah.... It screams amateur hour. -

take out latex glove, put tag in glove, blow glove up, tie 10ft piece of thread to glove, tie other end to animal. Note: thread must be Atleast 10ft long so AZGFD can easily identify glove from new 4x4. -
Cool lil buck. Season over.

That's funny!
