Who the gonna call when fluffy gets buffeted by a lion? -
I have the berreta silver pigeon 28/20. Sweet gun. But as fun as it is to shoot 28, it can get pricey.

thanks dude. forgot to say something. one day, were driving the rhino through this little canyon thick brush on both sides, an illegal jumps out right at my side, scared the crap out of me. he wanted water, i threw him a bottle and he told me please dont phone la migra. my phone was dead so there was nothing i could do. glassed up a guy and his kid, looked about 5 years old. they were under a tree hiding out. thing that pisses me off is the trash. trash every sing place you look. [img=http://i41.tinypic.com/2ii902e.jpg] Par for the course on these southern units, but the FIREBALL makes the pain go away.

Santa Catalina Bighorn Restoration Project
johnnie blaze replied to cmc's topic in Bighorn Sheep Hunting
The ones that have been seen around the Picachos and Newman Peak were passing through or trying to get there and stopped by the freeway. We are working on fixing up the water developments on and around the mountain so it will be ready for some in the future. Ya know, last spring I saw a road kill on the side of I-10 right in between Picacho and Newman. It was at night, but I could've sworn it was a sheep. Passed it off as just a muley until I found out about the silverbell sheep and then I figured they could've easily traveled that far... Back in the day a new ram showed up at the catchment behind el conquistador that had a blue eartag. Found out it traveled from the superstitions. They can travel...fosho. -
Unit 33 Bear tag holders
johnnie blaze replied to Weston's topic in Black Bear or Grizzly Bear hunts
Oh, I've seen a few. But over many years, and not during spring. I'd rather chase a yogi then a piggy any day though. -
It's much more fun when you don't lose em

I was down by mile marker 2 last wknd. All was good. -
From a kids standpoint, I believe I killed my first 100+ by 13. First few bucks were anything, or Atleast progression from spikes. Probably for the belief that I hadn't earned the right yet. Although, once that right was achieved, it seemed to be all about competition. Especially between siblings, not to mention the Ol man. Competition is healthy, but can also turn a kid off from hunting.

Actually, I have found through the years that the areas were I have found the most lions are the areas with the most deer. The lions are there for a reason, and that reason is food. If there wasn't enough food, they would move on. Hmmmmmmmmm
