Party at Jim Reynolds' house!

I wanna go! -
I have one question that needs to be answered. It seems that hunting is more popular today then ever before, agreed? If so, I dont ever remember having a junior hunt for me when I was a kid, or anything favorable to youths really back in my day. Im all for kids gettin outside, but whatever happened to just puttin in like everyone else? Are we really to the point that kids would not go out because they would just quit for the reason of not gettin drawn? Or for not having to work hard for a reward? Are we bein just a lil to soft on the next generation? I know when I was younger, if I didnt get drawn, the elders that molded me into a man of today would never let me quit because of such a reason. Ok, I know that was more then one question.

Another Trail Camera gone... any thoughts?
johnnie blaze replied to luvdemcoues's topic in Trail Cameras
I cant help but think with the popularity of cams and the frequency of incidents that seem to be happening, that one day it could escalate into something much much worse. Heres to hoping that I am wrong. -

No worries, you still have the monsoons that will feed all that dry nutrient. Theyll be back shortly, and think of how much easier itll be to glass em up. -

Im guessin since I see his vehicle in the pic next to the water its really close to a road. If not...ok, they've already broke one law, but besides that, I think this should not be a suprise if your gonna hunt water, especially that close to a road. It seems pretty dang rare to find water that someone else hasnt already "owned" -
Dude, that is so sweet! real, live trout...no stockers w/nubby tails! And the weather looked PERFECT!

AZ G&F being sude over capture & tranq of Macho B
johnnie blaze replied to azhuntergirl's topic in Predator Hunting and Trapping
Im just having a hard time believing that it was unintentional. AZGFD had to know that their chances were pretty dang good that they could possibly snag the jag. If they really wanted to target lions and bears, why did they put the trap in the same location as to where they have been seein the jag for years. It would seem that a overzealous biologist wanted to be soooo invovled in collaring that jag that they used the excuse of tryin to get a lion/bear just to cover their arse. They knew the cat was old, cause they estimated its age at 3 in 97 when they first saw macho B. So bein smart biologists and knowing the possible outcome of having to sedate a cat of that age.....why would they even chance the possibility of gettin that Jag it that snare? If this was truly a mistake, it was a huge one! And like Beau says....admit guilt and probably would have avoided a lawsuit. I dont like the fact of attacking AZGFD, cause ultimatly theyre on our side, but you must be held accountable for your actions no matter whom you are. -
Freakin San Carlos........attaboy.......fish fry or released?

Hey Beau, I agree with you. As you stated on another thread.....somethin really stinks about this!! -
No prob here on my laptop. Nice website. Sure looks like Bill Hardy gettin down behind that rifle in the begining of the video. Is it?

Thats sweet!!!! You can prolly just catch em by hand the way I hear they are drainin that pond!!

This guy is goofy as heck, and one of the most honest and true to the sport of outdoors. Out of all the shows on TV, he was the one I tried to catch. Even in his many failures, which happened more then not, he enjoys just bein out there. if you've never seen his show, do yourself a favor and watch em. Even if he doesnt pull through this.....he will fin some way to still be invovled....cause his passion is unsurpassed. Im pullin for ya Tred!!!

I admit that I get burnt out on hunting too at times. I havent filled a tag in years, not because I couldnt, but because I didnt see anything that I personally wanted. I have definately gotten into watching friends and family take animals more then me. But, what I have filled the void is with fishing. From about Feb.-July(and sometimes even into Nov.) I strictly fish. Then by the time hunting season comes around, Im more into it. I really like to go dove hunting also when it starts in Sept. which also gets me back in the mood. But then again, I drew a antelope tag with the bow, which will tend to get you repumped cause its something different. I dont see it as a big deal, take a break from it, sooner or later youll get the fever back...or maybe not....
