Just remember that those tiny bullets are gonna have a heck of a time with wind. I shoot a .220 swift for varmits and it is rock solid out to 300 yards. After that, the slightest breeze pushes the bullet all over. My dad started me with a Remmy 700 in .270 and that same gun is my preffered rifle on any game in AZ from coyote to elk.

Plug the chamber with a rubber cork and fill the barrel with Hoppes #9 and let sit for a few days. It clears out the fouling but is it damaging my gun? It seems a lot less corrosive than most copper solvents.

That was great! I started laughing when I watched it and my wife wanted to see what the fuss was about. I thought she was gonna lose her breakfast!

I Have a buddy who is right handed and blind in his right eye. He uses a switchback xt and had to learn to shoot left handed. He out shoots me consistently.

I've heard both sides to this debate. Some say it's legal some say it isn't. I'd like to be able to carry while I'm hunting. Not really worried about the bears and lions and such. I think people are more scary than any wild animal. Some real weirdos out there. Seems that keeping us from carrying is hindering our 2nd ammendment. Anyway, just looking for some more knowledge on the topic. Thanks.

Leave the cam. Go back out there and call up the cat!

100% totally completely worth it. If nothing else going out and checking the cams is an excuse to get away from town and do some hiking. Cameras and shed hunting trips are almost as good as getting into the woods with a bow or rifle.

I live and work in 20a. Never have I seen a coues in this unit. Just carp. If you're looking for respectable size (3x3 or bigger) Stay away from the lower flat stuff. Get into the rugged thick stuff away from all the road warriors. Avoid areas just outside of town. Majority of buck I see people take and that I get on camera are forkies. Not a lot of bigguns in here but they can be found. Start scouting now.

How do you pass the time in the blind?

I really enjoy listening to louis L'amour books on my ipod. I also listen to gunsmoke and the lone ranger. It keeps me entertained and allows me to keep my eyes on the prize. -
Been on a lot of wrecks were people just were too complacent and were doing something dumb. Hope this helps get the message out.

Off Work @ 0800 AM. Changing into camo here then heading out. Should be in the blind by 0900.

How to stop (or decrease) trail camera theft.
king4wd replied to SilentButDeadly's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Moultrie I60 has a password feature on it. It's the cam I choose to use in busy areas. Even if it gets jacked, I have the satisfaction of knowing that the dude is up poop creek with my useless trail cam. -
2" AAP Vanes made in Prescott Valley. The easiest vanes to fletch yourself.

Went out this morning with an itch to shoot some yotes. Only called this guy in though. Too bad it wasn't a month later. He'd be toast! I was using the Andy Hinds signature woodpecker decoy. He had recommended it to me on predator masters.

Nice. Hopefully the 1st of many!

The key is keeping people from seeing it to begin with. I like the small covert cams that Amanda sells. They're easy to hide. Try buying some camo fabric from walmart and gluing it on there. Set your cams at least 8 feet off the ground. Hope this helps.

This is the one I have. I love it. I just use the 3-d top with regular pants in the same pattern. ASAT Vanish Pro
