My thoughts are with you Savanna. A few words of encouragement for the family... I have seen kids adapt with amazing speed to this condition. My son has Diabetes as well. One of the leading research centers for Diabetes is here in Phoenix, I know the lead doctor. It is my deepest belief that a cure, or at least a much better control, is sooner rather than later.

In one episode they searched all night for any sign. When they got back to the cars someone noticed a hand print on a car. 1/2 hour of "could it be" and never once did they look for footprints in the DIRT parking lot.

McMillan makes a limited edition Coues rifle and they choose 6.5. They know their stuff, and they know long distance. I'd trust that as starting point. It's only $5100 so get two!

Awesome shooting. I work with a client who makes guns for a show called Extreme Outer limits. They know their stuff, they practice the distance, they are pushing the edge of conventional thinking. They also don't miss. IF you know the gun, know the distance, know the wind, and are confident... go for it. It's WAY beyond my shooting, but I don't put in the time they do... or have the equipment to do it.

azshtr replied to twigsnapper's topic in The Campfire
My neighbor and one of my buddies have golden doodles. They are very smart dogs! They are smart! They can post an ad on craigslist and find someone to treat them likes kings. We are the dumb worker bees. -
Memories for sure. My only real where am I moment was in 5bn. We were working fingers off of the rim. Time to head out and we though we had the right road / finger. We missed. Now the question was which way (also pre GPS)? The lessons learned were A) Aim off the bearing intentionally so you know which way to go when you hit the road, and I do not want a vehicle which blends in in the dark, give me a color I can see when tired.

I'm a very conservative voter. My take is that Biden was an old wind bag who kept interrupting, Ryan came across as more polite than he should have. In the end it was only a slight debate edge to Ryan, no real swing either way. Ryan left way to much un said. Biden didn't win anything = a close match in debate. Ryan wins in substance but didn't hammer enough. Biden was a snorting, laughing, sneering goof. Ryan was collected and polite... to polite.

My son was a member of the young republicans at ASU. Most of the engineering students were. It was the liberal art types who made up the bulk of the student body and liberal student mindset. -
Costa Rica set to BAN hunting!
azshtr replied to Chef's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Just to be clear I wasn't dumping on your story or situation... it happens. That it happens was NOT my point or I would have said so in your thread. And... good point about getting help from others.
