Why did'nt you tell me you were a "home boy", I would have given you my two cents on Unit 33 muleys if I had known. This will be my first year with a tag in 27/28 so you can throw something my way if you want (Whitetails of course).

I know I would like to see the discussion forum focus strictly on the topic of Whitetails. We often see a lot of "clutter" that really does not need to be here.

Jade, Unit 27/28 December Whitetail. love2hunt, Go for it! Find a place on the map with no roads and start walking. It can be a great hunt.

Hey Deerslam, welcome to the forum. I cannot help you with New Mexico Unit 24 but I would be interested to know what you find out, it sounds like a great unit to hunt in. Let me know if I can help you out with your AZ hunts.

Sorry there parothead, I was in the wrong forum and thought you were asking about AZ. I know exactly where you are talking about now. I can't help you with good areas there but last year when I was hunting in 27 (New Mexico) those mountains across the valley in 26 looked awesome. Good luck to you.
