Congrats, beautiful bull -
Thanks all for the congrats. We had seen several decent bucks throughout scouting and the hunt but never this group until the time mattered, glad they were still around.

Ruger New Model Blackhawk 50th Anniversary .44 Mag 6 1/2in barrel Been sitting in the safe since new 2006; only fired twice & once from factory. Excellent condition & very clean. Do not have much use for it and would rather have the money for my new binos Asking $600 OBO Vortex Viper 15 x 50s, these are NOT HD's, bought new in Nov. 2010 from Sportsman’s and used them on 2 coues hunts and 1 elk hunt. Bought new bino's, don’t have much use for these. Like new, and in good condition Asking $500 OBO

Opening weekend was extremely tough, hot/full moon/tall grass. Didn't see much activity except for early morning and late afternoon. When we did see deer it was very sporadic , not a lot of deer doe or buck. Didn't have any time to hunt during the week, so my parents and I hit it hard the second weekend and our luck paid off. Still not seeing the amount of deer that we saw in years past, I was lucky enough to glass up a nice buck just over 475 yards bedded midday. I made the decision to shoot, I get down and rest on my pack, I squeeze off the first round.. Boom... MISS..... The buck stands and starts to move down hill.....boom.. HIT, as the buck is rapidly descending the hill I shoot again and he comes to rest at the bottom of the hill. Dad and i make our way down this incredibly steep country while mom glasses from above and we find my buck. Could not be any more thrilled!!!! Rough tapped at 106 3/8

Congrats, that is a stud for sure

my rifle is a 300 WSSM Browning XBolt with a Luepold 3X9 40. At 475yrds bedded in the shade he was really hard to pick up, the few missed shots i had on him was the driving factor for me to purchase a new scope when i got back to town lol. Next season i will have a leupold VX-3L 4.5-14x50mm

Well maybe I can convince Devin at Arizona Wildlife designs to take another look, no matter what this bad boy is going on the wall.
