Wild Heritage Taxidermy

If you mean why just a neck mount? Well the mount that was brought in was a neck mount, it was falling apart and the owner wanted it remounted in the same pose as it was her fathers deer. Dale -

Yes, it's gone, we got the 911 call first thing this morning. It was fully involved when we got on scene. Despite our best efforts it was on the ground an hour later. We saved the little motel next to it and nobody was injured. Our town just won't be the same without it!! Dale PVFD -

McKenzie-brand Coues mount?
WildHeritageTaxidermy replied to AZ_Chris's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Some of the taxidermy suppliers are now carrying coues deer forms. Some taxidermist still use small eastern whitetail forms but they don't really have the same proportions as our coues. You can get the McKenzie forms in an offset shoulder or straight. Left or right turn. upright, semi-sneak, and you should be able to get it altered to just about any pose you like. Like hard turn, pedestal, sniffing, ect... The offset shoulder forms are great if there is damage to the hide from being drug or whatever. Just rember to cut your cape long, like at the end of the ribcage. I think you will like the McKenzie form. -

Turkeys and Elk
WildHeritageTaxidermy replied to GonePointing's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
They will still come in. While on a cow hunt my wife sat water and she had 3 flocks of turkeys, 2 coyotes, 11 deer and elk come in. The only thing I've seen deter them is bear. If I had a bear on the camera nothing came in for 24 hrs. Good LuckWild Heritage Taxidermy -
