Now that's what I'm talking about !!! Great buck. Keep em coming.

Ok Harold I had a good thing going here. THEN you posted this freak of nature buck. Now nobody want to be the next picture on page 3 because they don't want your MASSIVE MONSTER to make their great 100" buck look small. So with that said guys you need to get back to it I know that there were a lot more 100" bucks taken in 2009. Lets get a solid count on just how many! I promise I won't compare anyones buck to Harold's buck.

I completely agree with you I think all of those things are factors to harvesting 100" bucks. I also want to add that trail cameras are also a contributing factor. I consider myself a average hunter at best I don't have the time or money to spend a hole lot of time in the woods and I don't live in Coues country. I bought some trail cameras 2 years ago and I know that they have helped me. Not only are thay a great scouting tool because they do some of the work for you. I say some because you still have to get out there and do the work to find a spot. "deer aren't attracted to cameras"
They also give you the confidence it takes to kill a trophy buck. Once you have seen that buck on camera a couple of time your confidence builds and once you have the confidence anything is possible. "100 inch bucks are possible"

You have alot of people very jealous on this site now including myself. That buck is truely amazing. He has everything MASS, points, length, spread and did I say MASS. You said you don't think he weighed more then 100 lbs? To me it looks like his head alone weighed more then 100 lbs! That is some serious hardware he was carring around on his head. Congrats on such a great buck. Soak up all the attention you and that buck both deserve it.

A buddy of mine killed a bull very simaler to that about 10 years ago in 5Bs. Very cool find.

To steal the camera is bad enough, but leaving dogs to die and taking the camera what a dirt bag.you mean what a corn bagger
+1 on the rotten corn bagger

WOW!!!!!! That buck is freaking big. I would loveto find a buck like that in my HONEY HOLE.
Congrats to you on a beautiful trophy you lucky lucky man.

Great spot... Whole bunch of bone heads hanging out on that hill.

There were so many 100"+ bucks taken in 2009 that it's been hard to keep track of all of them. If you were lucky enough to harvest one in 2009 or took part in a hunt that resulted in a 100"+ being harvested by a friend or family member post a picture and what he scored and the date killed. Lets get a tally going.
107 5/8" Killed 10-23-09

Congrats on a great buck.

I look for places with alot of sign. I've got some of my best pictures of deer in washes that hold water for a few days after a rain. My best advice though would be to lock your camera up and hide it the best you can. Even if you think no one will find it, someone will.
-
Their all trophies in my eyes. Their all God's beautiful creatures and they all take the same amount of dedication to get the job done.
-
WOW that's a nice one.

I can't believe that he fit in that jeep. He makes the F250 in the second picture look small. Great buck I'm still drooling. By the way Harold have I told you how lucky you are!!! Great job man!
