What are the chances that he is the same Buck from the best coues trail cam contest? I put them side by side, and they are awful similar. Maybe that big sack of on the antler was just filled with soft tissue or blood or something, and it shrivled up when he started to loose his velvet. What do you think?

Over the tire flatbed trailer. It has electric brakes, and ramps that enable the trailer to be loaded from any side of the trailer. I used it to haul around my small bobcat, and some landscape equipment. Im asking 1300 for it. Let me know if you would be interested. there is a third picture that was too big for the post but it can be seen on craigslist @ http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/for/1957456768.html Thanks

Sounds like a pretty good hunting season so far. Despite the rukuss, of course. But a bear and your first archery coues! Nice job man!

When I dropped off my mount to my taxidermist I was concerned about the bugs and my velvet antlers. He told me that antlers in velvet are more susceptible to the bugs and a good way to prevent them is to rub some borax on them once a year. Anyone else tried or heard of this?

I haven't killed many animals, a bull elk in 27 (actully about 200 yards from where I shot this deer), and another coues in 24b. Both of those were with a rifle. Taking this guy with my bow was one of the coolest things ever. I watched him come in from about 120 yards. He stopped at 17 and gave me a chance to draw when he reached back to lick his butt. My stupid quiver doesnt hold my arrows tight, and when I drew, 2 of them slid down to the broadheads. I was a mess, my heart was beating and I was breathing SOO hard! I managed to hold it together, and he ran out to where I had a 30 yard refrence point pre ranged, stopped, gave me a perfect broadside view, and that was it for him, Double lunged and after an hour I found him about 150 yards away.

I have the nikon 6-18x 40 side focus buckmaster scope that i would like to trade for the same scope but with the fine crosshair reticle with target turrets. The bdc is awesome, I am just looking to set up to be able to shoot a little further and the fine hairs would be better. Thanks
