Congrats on the deer! All three of the 36 units are getting bad as far as illegals. I had a 36c hunt last year and i saw more illegals then i did deer in the areas i hunted in past years! It seems like the only way to get BP to show is if you track an agent down and drag them to where the illegals are.

I have been out a few times this year and the hand calls still work. Sometimes you just have to change up your sets. Use a distress call then wait 3 or 4 minutes then throw in a pup howl. So far they have been responding good to that. I also have a foxpro and that works almost as good as hand calls. It all depends on the predator. some will respond quick and some it might take 30 minutes of calling to get them to show up that is where electric calls come in handy.
