Can you believe this!!! (B of A error)

Forlorn I never leave that step to chance as well I personally deliver my tag to Game and Fish office and drop it off in what we now call ( SMXL BOX 360) the super, magic, extra lucky Box 360 cause its round inside the Game and Fish office. Last year we drew a 12a tag and this year the coveted 3001 unit 1 tag.A buddy of mine told me last year when we were on our way to volunteer out on a youth pheasant hunt he drops his form every year in that box and had got drawn in unit 1 for bull 2 years in a row ever since that where I drop it off dough!!!!!I told you to much already

Can you believe this!!! (B of A error)

All I can say is Money order is the absolute best way to go for many reasons I never trust the electronic way EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It's like other smart people commenting on this being prepaired for what may be the hunt of your lifetime or the great memories you will be creating with Family putting in is the first step in makeing all this possible .I learned cash is king we save and set money aside every year for our hunts putting away cash every month so when the first chance we can put in we have the cash in hand for our hunts ,then we go straight to the post office and get a money order with triple checking our apps and making copies of them There are to many nightmares from your buddies coming up short and bouncing a check to Bof A screwing you out of a hunt of a life time in this day of electronic age its sad that this can happen but you hear of this EVERY I mean EVERY YEAR!!!!!yes there are mistakes that can happen on money orders too but its far less of a chance than the most convienant way!Dont leave your points and hunts to chance

    Kiabab anterless

+1 for more doe tags!I 123456 , priest and Desert bull are right .I had the privelidge last october to go hunting in 12a and have to say there were does everywhere it seemed like almost around every tree! Plus it is a great opportunity for the youth to harvest one Kaibabs greatest resources and as long as it is only a youth hunt I really see no beef.Really there is no shortage of Does there I think Game and Fish have learned alot from thew past and are manageing the herd correctly. Its alot of work ,science and effort to keep herds from over populating not to mention its still a youth hunt it does not mean they will harvest a Doe I have herd of many youth not harvesting a Deer and still had a blast in Gods country!!

Bartlet low but lots of fish

Hey folks just wanted to give a report about Bartlet lake.Went over to my buddies Travis house on Friday night for dinner and asked him if he was up for fishing Saturday morning he looked at me smiled and said why not leave tonight with our sons. So with a few blessings from our wives and we headed to the lake with our sons Jay and Hunter.Picked up water and worms a Tonto pass and we got there launched the boat at the main boat ramp because the lake is really down. I fished all night and most of the morning till around 9:AM then the heat started to really beat on us,so I took a quick cruse around the lake and then we left .The night time got a little chilly but nothing to really complain about and the stars were simply awesome to look at with no moon out at the Lake. Nothing really started to bite till first light and thats when we got a little top water bite on buzz baits and poppers great fun then we settled in with worming and really found a great honey hole . we even had a double that morning. My son Jay and buddy Travis and his son caught a bunch of fish from channel cats to blue gills and lots of hungry Bass I caught a cat nap while they caught a decent amount of fish since I was the driver back home.Bartlet has always been one of my favorite lakes to just have an excellent time with good friends and family. Here are a few pics from our Bartlet adventure

Apache Lake windy but fun 4-30-11

Hi all I just got back home from fishing Apache Lake today and it was awesome to get out there with my fishing Buddy for life my 4 year old son little X and friend Fester we meant to be on the lake at first light but ran into some boat trailer issues my tail lights were out so after trouble shooting them buying new bulbs and fixing a cut harness wire we were back in business and since it took a few hours to get the trailer right we figured there was no sense in rushing any more so we took our time getting to the lake had a nice fast food breakfast and stopped in globe a wall-mart to get some crawlers and fishing odds and ends.We finally got to Apache at about 1:PM and fished till bout 5:PM and the wind there the whole time was brutal about 15 to 20 miles an hour and never let up but we managed to make the most of it .My 4 year old is die hard and he was determined to catch some yellows so I rigged him up with a double jig set up one on the end and an other tied about a foot or so just above it chartreuse 1/16th jig heads one with john deer green grub and the other with a plastic trout worm on it this worked great for him as soon as we moved into a cove he hooked up with yellows right away .He was stoked plus we tried to get out of the worst of the wind I had the same rig most of the time as well and pulled in some yellows too .Then hit a snag and switched to just an eagle claw leader with a gold spinner and night crawler this set up turned out to be just the ticket for smallmouth and largemouth Bass my buddy Fester soon put on this rig too and bang he hooked up as well. For the time we got to spend on the lake and get blown around it was awesome in all we caught 4 small-es 3 large mouth 3 blue gill and 11 yellows my son even had a double on ,of yellows I tried to take a picture of both yellow bass on his pole at the same time but the bottom fish was barely hooked and when he swung them into the boat the bottom fish hopped off but was still in the boat .At that moment you would not find a more excited kid on this lake LOL .We put the smallmouths back as the females still were full of eggs so we wanted them to get in the water asap. I just finished cleaning the gills and yellows my son boated here is some pics of some of the fish we caught today

    How to skin a coyote.

My father in-law is from Egypt and has used this same method for 50 plus years on slaughtering lamb using a bicycle pump to help skin them out it is a very popular method for middle eastern butcher shops.Pretty cool to see a more modern twist to this

  15. Hey all just wanted to show off my new coues getter!(The Good Lord Willing). Just got her last week and finally have her set up.The more I shoot this Carnage the more impressed I become after paper tuning and setting up my 20 yard pin I took this Baby out to usery and started flinging arrows after I got my 40 yard set up It wasn't long before I was shaving the vanes off my new arrows the groups were that close .I love how smooth the draw cycle is and feels very comfy and steady in my hands what really got me was how quite this baby is.I really put a lot of decision making in buying this bow especially since I am a South Paw and its hard to find the perfect bow for a lefty I am not one who gets a new bow every year. I saved for a long time so I could pay with hard earned cash. My old Browning was 7 years old so I looked around for a long time tried a lot of the newest bows out even leaning to wards the omen or possibly a Z7 but I don't buy bows on a impulse knowing that I will be shooting a bow for a long time . I was really impressed with my kids new bear apprentice that we got him .He was very comfortable with it and it set up so easy So I started doing a ton of research and even called there customer service they answered all my questions and were extremly helpful so Finally had to hold and try out different bows to find the right one and make a love connection with a bow to know if it is going home with me or not.Now I can't wait for Deer archery season to roll around ,in the meantime I hope to be fling an arrow every chance I get till then .Well couldn't be happier with my Carnage in AP camo she is so beautiful to me! My son has made me a huge Bear Fan!

    Sunflower seeds

I have a weakness for sunflower seeds mainly because most other store bought snacks I should be shying away from as I seem to be expanding sides ways lately LOL. So just wondering if there is any buddy else who likes em sitting around the campfire ,glassing ,fishing,Hunting ect who do you think makes the best ones and what flavor you think is the best? I personally love the Bigs dill pickle they pack a ton of flavor in that bag and a close second has been there bacon flavor seeds so just figured I throw it out there and see .

    Sunflower seeds

CHEF ,PINE DONKEY YOU GUYS WERE RIGHT MAN SINCE YOU GUYS TOLD ME TO TRY THE CRACKED Pepper rocks. My kids still love the bacon flavor Biggs and also team Jesus's kid now loves that flavor as well .On a side note while trying to find the cracked pepper seeds I saw a chorizo Flavor corn nuts and my natural Mexican instincts was I got to try these well I jumped in the car and started driving popped open the bag and dropped a bunch in my mouth and HOLY SMOKES!!! these corn nuts set me back in my chair!! with nothing to dink and and driving I was forced to pull over to the nearest QT and grab a large iced tea to was the fire coming out of my mouth I can handle hot Chile but man I was not expecting that kind of a kick from corn nuts most flavor stuff that claim to be hot are a joke but these are a perfect bag to have around the camp fire and play a dirty trick on some one LOL
  23. Here's the deal, my son who is left handed learned to shoot with his Hoyt right handed youth bow but when I took him to hunters safety class the instructor insisted that he was left eye dominant and needed to shoot with a left handed bow, so we went to bass pro shops in 2009 and bought him this left handed browning bow, turns out the instructor was wrong and he is right eye dominant and shoots with his right hand. This bow maybe had four arrows shot through it and he gave up on archery till this weekend when he went on a 3d shoot with me and my wife and friends now he wants a right handed bow to shoot again. This bow has been hanging in the closet till now, comes complete with owners manual, quiver instructions telling you how to set up the two piece quiver. My son removed the spec sheet on the limb This bow is 40-50 pounds legal for hunting, here are the specs: •IBO Speed: 251-259 fps •Draw length:18-27" •30 1/2" axle-to-axle length •Let off: 70% •Brace Height: 6 1/4" •Hypermax™ 10 cams are optimized for the micro geometry and still offer a full 10" of draw length adjustment •Hyperlite Unibody limb pocket provides enhanced limb support and guarantees precise limb alignment •Precision machined aluminum riser •Mossy Oak® Breakup™ camo finish •Approx 3 1/2 lb. Comes complete ready to shoot with basic arrow rest, three pin optic sight, 2 piece four arrow quiver, limb saver string leaches, camo d-loop, peep sight, and 3 desperado2 carbon force practice arrows. Light enough for any youth left hander or lady hunter. We paid $299.00 + tax for this bow new in 2009, we are letting this excellent barely used bow go for $250.00. We would also consider trading straight across for a youth right handed bow of equal value not anything of lesser value. If you're interested please send me a PM or email me at xbenavidez@yahoo.com or call 602-402-3129
