I hunted all day today (sunday) and saw all sorts of nothing better luck next time -
well I hunted four of the seven hunting days (fri, sat in the rain and snow then wed. and thur.) I glassed for hours, hiked for miles, drove for miles more and got my butt kicked, didn't see any pigs just wondering if anybody else had any luck or not. I did glass up 3 deer, 4 elk, 7 hunters, 11 rabbits and 100's of quail

I hunted around Jakes corner and Gisla area, sycamore creek and even spent some time down by the Verde river I did see the most sign there very fresh scat, tracks and rooting and the fewest people.

PREDATOR HUNTING USEING Hand CALLS
deaddog250 replied to AZBUCKEYE's topic in Predator Hunting and Trapping
I like the primos still jackrabbit call it is easy to use and cheep but i don't recommend it for cold weather I use open reed calls when it gets cold, +1 on the wood calls -
the spitfire is a great little caller it has 24 sounds and you can add/change them on your PC with almost any sound type .mp3 , .wav , or fox pros sounds the remote is good for about 100 feet or a little more with line of sight. it is not the loudest caller i have ever herd volume 1 is almost useless but you can add extra speakers if you think you need to. I would recomend a remote caller
