allan , i have the hunter hogg it with 7 pins and once you get it set right its a great site, the sdp does not have 3rd axis adjustments as the hogg it does , if i had the money to get a new site i would get the axcel armotech hd they make it in a 7 pin it has the bight pins and has 3rd axis adjutmetns,, i think its a very durabloe site and my buddy special ordered some in 9 pins so if your gap was too big you could use the last 2 pins for 75 and 85 yards,,, just my 2 cents give me a call if you have any questions... Armortech 7pin and Qad hd well iam going to go against the grain here, I have the spot hogg hunter hogg it with 7 pins and the wrap, i also have the qad hd rest. I will be getting the armortech for my next sight and the qad cant be beat so i would choose those two

I have the hogg it 7 pin wrapped and its an expensive site, that being said i love the site, on the other hand iam buying an axcell armor-tech 7 pin for my athens bow and i believe they are a better site for less money.....cbryant

well i have an average of 13 years to draw a tag so as long as i dont have to wait 26 to draw a rut tag then i will still keep putting in for it

I have an archery rag horn tag there, and we can scout 2 days prior to the hunt........we start thursday so i will be out in the morning checking some spots.... pm me if i can help you out.....cbryant

when i had a hunt in 2006 my and my buddy were constantly playing different ranging games where we would take a guess then range it and see who was closer,,,, after doing that for 8 days all day every day i got to be pretty good at judging yardage, in fact when it came time to shoot, i didnt have time to use my new leica rangefinder and i had to guess him really quick,,, i shot him for 45 and when we ranged the shot it was 42 so practice practice practice and it will come in handy if you gotta make a quick shot...cbryant

2010 9-10 is when the hunt will start next year. When the bulls are not bugleing or responding to calls, the Sept hunt is like the Nov archery hunt... I still dont think its as bad as a november hunt at least they may bugle once ,,,,,but i have heard them scream there heads off in november so ,,,, you may be right
