I had a tag in 06 and the hunt started later that year and we felt the rut was winding down when the hunt started,,,,,It definitely got harder towards the tale end of the hunt that year

iam right handed and left eye dominate, i shoot right handed, I would take him down and let him shoot both ways, right and left, and see whats more comfortable to him. as long as he shoots the same every time there would not be a problem of closing eyes or anything as long as he is comfortable.......

i think its a hard picture to judge, beams look short and fronts look small so i would say with the fantastic tops he would go 350

my buddy and father in-law Dean Linne shot this buck this morning in arizona , 40 yard shot and a follow up 51 yard shot put this guy down for good.he is a 3x4 with eye gaurds and is the biggest buck to date for him. lots of 3d practice helped out with making the shot on the bedded buck. The first shot double lunged him and he dropped down the side of the ridge so Dean snuck up to the edge of the ridge and he was standing quartering away at 51 yards so Dean shot him just behind the left hip and it blew threw him coming out in between his neck and front right shoulder. bowtech Swat Victory vforcehv arrows G5 Montec broadheads

the admiral is an awsome bow, i bet you could find a used one online for the same price your looking at, and as far as speed bows go i would not consider that a speed bow, it is a nice smooth drawing quick bow. now my 82nd airborn is a speed bow that will rip your arm off if you creep just a little bit.......cbryant

If you have your bow tuned properly and the broadheads fly great for you then thats the one you should use, i used a gold tip 22 series pro with 4 inch feathers and an 85 gr montec to take my bull down at 42 yards the total arrow weight was 345 gr, if i had an arrow that weighed 500gr would that have killed my bull any deader? i sold my weatherby also,,,,, i am going to get either a 6.5-284 or a 7mm ultramag, topping it with a leupold mark IV or a nightforce , i cant make up my mind, if i go with the 7mm iam going to get a sendero if i go with the 6.5 i will go custom, what do you think.......i wish my wife would let me move back down,,,,i dont see that in my future cbryant
