i believe that the game and fish should have a rule that if you draw a tag then you are not eligible to draw for say the next 3 years you can apply for the bonus point but i think that would give every body a little bit more of an opportunity to draw more than once in 10 or 13 years.... i drew in 06 and i would be alot happier if i new i might draw in 09 10 11 versus 16 or 19 ,,,,,just my thought game and fish wants more hunter oportunity this method is better than adding more hunts when you wont evan have a chance of killing an animal;;;;;;;cbryant

i have been shooting target league with an 82nd airborn and i freakin love it. my suggestion would be go with the 101 airborn you get the long brace height and long axel to axel and you can get the smooth mods for it and youll be shooting great speed and they are great shooting bows Total Arrow Weight: 420 gr Bow IBO Speed: 330 Adjustment for Draw Length: 15 Adjustment for Draw Weight: 0 Adjustment for Arrow Weight: -23 Adjustment for Weight on String: -7 Calculated Speed: 315 fps Kinetic Energy: 92.56 .......cbryant

here is my first archery bull. i finally drew a tag in 06 and had an awsome time with my father in law and my best friend,,,cbryant

i shot an elk this last year with an arrow that was 345 grains at 70 lbs. i shot an 85 gr montec that was super sharp , as long as youre bow shoots great and you can place an arrow in a kill zone then you should be able to shoot a lighter arrow and get more speed. thats my opinion , i like the speed because if you dont guess the yardage just right with a slow bow you could miss your target altogether and with a faster arrow you can be off and still hit the target, cbryant

I put in for archery elk, partly so that my dad and I won't have competing hunts. If I am lucky enough to draw I will buy a bow. Once I get proficient with it, I am sure I will enjoy the challenge and rush of a bow hunt. I had more than enough "buck fever" with a rifle in hand. I can only imagine what it would be like with a bow in hand! that is one problem with the system , i hate to say and be an a** but you should be proficient with a bow before you put in...cbryant

during my elk hunt me and my buddy would quiz each other and have little contest at guessing different yardages, then range them and see who was closest, well when it came down to cruch time i didnt have time to use the rangefinder but i guessed 45 yds and it was actually 42 so i believe with out all the practice and little contest i would not have been that close....cbryant

we were down by wilcox this weekend and saw groups of 15 -7 does but only saw 1 buck and he was a little spike muley,so i find it hard that the rut is under way,,,,cbryant

They might have been referring to adjusting your muzzle break to decrease or tune barrel whip ? i have a factory brake on my weatherby 30-378 and i dont care how loud it is i wouldnt shoot it with out it, and in my opinion they do make you more accurate because you dont worry about the kick , i too would like to see a 2.5" group at 400 yds, what kind of rifle and scope combo is that....... cbryant
