Does the pulley fit tight on the shaft it could have worn the shaft down causing the pulley to not stay tied on there

I have heard the jewell can be very sensitive to dust and dirt , i have excellent luck with ol style remington and timney triggers -

I would brake the factory barrel you should get a few thousand rounds down the tube -
Those are short action calibers
