  1. I was fortunate enough to join the Auction Tag Winner for the San Carlos Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep Hunt 2015. The hunter, Caesar Fonte was looking to completing his slam, and also to join the 700 club. I picked the 2 worst days to hunt, but with persistence and patience we were able to connect on this 180 class ram. Caesar made an incredible shot at 350 yards with sleet and winds topping 30-40MPH crosswind. Huge and deep respect for the animal and also for the hunt itself. Special thanks to my bro Randy Hopkins, Daniel Juan for the help with the hunt on this ram and also the San Carlos Game and Fish Department for an awesome management system to provide high quality game every year..... attached are couple of photos harvested, and when he was alive pre scouting... Ram rough scores right at 180.... God bless all you hunters out there and stay safe this season.

  2. I've had my Cabelas bighorn tent for about 10 years without a wash. Can anyone refer me to a place who can provide washing service for my tent? Any info or help will be appreciated. I'll be in the Phoenix area and thought it would be great to drop it off today if any business is available to provide washing and conditioning of my tent. Thanks. Preferably looking for a company in the valley. Mesa, Scottsdale, chandler.

  3. I've shot .308 my whole life. It's the only caliber I own. Everything I've shot is in the freezer or on the wall. My 417, 380, 370 bull, 195 Muley and 124in coues. It's really about shot placement. I own a fluted Remington 26in 308 synthetic stock with muzzle break and it's like shooting a 223. I love it and I don't plan on anything else. I use hornady SST factory bullets. Absolutely no issues. It's the person behind the rifle. Not the rifle.

  4. Honestly the spotting scope is almost new.... the leicas and swaroski are used.... the 10s are about 8 years old.... the leicas are about 4 years old.... the 10s will need to be sent in for the toggle if that makes sense..... it works just loose is all.... like I said im being honest

  7. Hello all hunters.... I am actually down to couple days left to hunt Unit 1 archery. I just got off a fire assignment and been busy since July with no scouting. I have been in the unit a lot in 2010, 2011 on an assignment but I know how things change. Guide is not an option of course. And at this point I'm happy with any nice bull. Of course I've had my 370, 380, and 400 bulls taken but willing to take down any decent size at this point for I am a hunter who is just happy to get out. Just had a really busy fire season and made that a priority with all the resources that were threatened. Any info would help even if you just told me a creek, mtn, tank etc. thank you and God bless all you hard core hunters.

  8. Brandon.... Congrats on an awesome magnificent coues.... I know how hard you hunt for these creatures and I know you deserved this buck. I remember when u shot 141 in 2010 and didn't think you'd top that guy. And a good reminder. Who cares what anyone thinks, say or do regarding your harvest. Only you know where u stand with this beautiful coues and that's all that matters. I just hope one day to hunt with you on one of your coues adventures... Congrats to you and the outfitters... Awesome job. Again thank you for sharing and God bless u hard core coues hunters.

  9. Heres the link to a you tube video that we made from our past 2014 Fire Season.... we were extremely busy with 140 days committed to wildfires.... Only saw home 24 days in 5 months..... I can honestly say that there is something about getting dropped off or hiking into the middle of no where with whatever gear you have on feels great, especially when you have to support yourself for 48-72 hours and sleep on the ground where you finish for the day or into night. Hope you all enjoy and always remember to stay safe if you are either hunting or working hard at your job.... God Bless
