When does the hunt end? -
When a buck spots me the first thing I do is cry, then hang my head down in disgust. Then I get pissed and formulate a new plan to put an arrow in him! I would try to get in front of him and let him walk into you. It's always the doe you don't see that will screw things up. As suggested earlier patience will get you this buck. Good luck!

Thanks guys for supporting us and respecting our wishes! As for the ranking/score etc. we are waiting for the official score in Feb. That is when the 60 days for B&C is up. It's hard to say where her bull will rank since I'm not an expert on scoring. Merry Christmas everyone!

Thanks!!! It was a combined effort. Lots of help from many CWT members! Months of preperation, hard work and practice. I can't take all the credit. But when the opportunity presented it's self she was ready!! She was like, Dad, I got this! That girl can shoot!! She made two grown men cry that day. I'll never admit that in public. Lol!!!!

Usually a dead animal. Lol JK. Man I re-evaluate this every year! PITA! Survival equipment is most improtant!!!! I have the small Gerber kit it has an assortment of survival components, very small and light weight. I take 3-4 lighters, magnesium fire stater, paracord, knives ( havlon and a cold steel pendelton hunter) sports tape( good for many things, splinting, taping blisters, cuts, you name it) water filter, always, always, always take quality rain gear(even if it doesn't rain it's a good wind breaker and helps retain body heat) extra batteries, flashlight and a head lamp, GPS, map, and most important TP!!!!!! Cutting your shirt selves off not only gets expensive it makes you cold!!! For meds I take Tylenol, Advil, Benadryl, Claritin , cortisone cream. Food depends on the trip. Best enventon EVER, jet boil. Then hunting gear. Once again depends on the hunt. I hunt backcountry most of the time so I try to stay light.
