Anybody cooked their coues in a pit or luau style? Just cooking the 4 quarters. The back straps are being made into coues carne asada tomorrow night.

The problem with neck sizing is that I lose accuracy.

Let me say it again, a story. Ya know the blood sweat and tears. Months of preparation, scouting etc.... Not just flaunting pictures of the governor or raffle tag. No one ever said guides/scouts don't work hard. Don't get your pannies in a bunch.

Contact game and fish. Give a discription of the bull, location, etc. I have a friend that did this. A bull was found in the area he shot his bull. He met the G&F and the person who found it at kill site. G&F said they would let him have it if it was the bull he discribed. Turns out it was not the bull he shot. He contacted G&F before the hunt ended. Good luck.

Beautiful pictures! I also spent the last week in Colorado hunting elk. It was a tough year! We went 0-4. Had a great time and saw some amazing country! Now that the full moon is gone it should pick up. The muzzy guys should do well. Good luck!
