I've used this method that Bass describes all the time. Timing is important,ussually when the bull is within 80 yds or so.It sure does make them mad.

I just got the pics,I just need help posting them.Maybe I can e-mail then to someone? I used Kiwi leather scuff cover.I experimented on an old shed and it came out pretty nice so I did an 81" coues skull I found last year in 22,that stuff works great.I'm no expert and I know there are probably more professional ways but my way worked for me.Oh yeah after I applied some stain I would wipe it with a rag and repeated until I got the finish I wanted.Good luck and I hope your as happy as I was with the results.

I've got the measurements,I guess it scored right at 370.Left side,50"main g1-16,g2-20,g3-19,g4-19,g5-12,h1-8.5,h2-7,h3-7,h4-6,total164.5,right side,main-50,g1-17,g2-19,g3-17.5,g4-20,g5-12,h1-9,h2-7,h3-7,h4-6,total164.5 spread 41' net(it was pretty dry)370".I have since stained it and it came out pretty good.Just bought some skull whitener from Sportsmans and hope to have it on my wall soon.

hey bass they have an adapter at sportsman for your pistolgrip it goes from 1/4 20 to 3/8,ask them at the binoc counter. -

looks like my nephew and brother got drawn for deer.I unfortunately got skunked. Oh well at least my nephew got his first deer tag,he's 13. I can't wait to be there with him on d-day.
