Mason, hey there is no doubt in my mind that the deer you shot is a coues! I've seen some dandy deer on the rez and there is one in particular that looks like that with a drop tine. Hopefully he'll still be around to chase next October.I killed the deer on page 9 of the San Carlos pics with the big brow tines(6 1/2 and 5 3/4).Congatulations on a heck of a couesdeer Tony

I've seen deer like that on the San Carlos Rez hunting with guide Curley Bush, and my wife's uncles. It was Elk season over in Malay Gap.5 deer in a group all non typicals but the last one in the bunch was a brute typical that dwarfed the others.Been looking for two seasons for him.I see him in September during archery Elk but can't seem to locate him after that, dang smart deer.I've seen a couple come out of there this year that were bruisers.Hopefully i'll get some pic's of him this year both on the hoof and on my lap. -

I sure do that no good liversu...just kidding.I think very highly of Gunner, know your dad Lark also.I work with them both. You Springerville boys are allright.Tell Gunner Tony said Hi And i'm looking forward to hunting with him on my deer hunt on the San Carlos this year.I killed a nice muledeer last October, could'nt find a big whitetail, and i'm ready for some good eyes to help me find one.

i had unfortunate experience this past year hunting with my cousin in 24B. A man pointed his rifle at us looking at us through his scope, twice, then out pops his son(I assumed) further up the canyon and did the same thing.I wonder if that kids son will do the same, when he has one. Will the cycle end in that stupid family?

Thats the family, and if the rest of the family are anything like Gunner they must be an awesome, hard hunting family. Hey thats an absolute TOAD you scored in unit 33,great job.
