  1. I know the entire story. This company is the worst I hAve ever heard of. I will let him tell you who if he wants, but 3 years and nothing touched. It was damaged and the owner did NOTHING to make it right.

What type of company takes a deposit, handles a 90" plus buck with a bow, allows it to be eaten by rodents, never tells you, and takes 3 years. Ain't even my buck but my friend is better man than me. I would have knocked his teeth out as repayment.

  2. Just my opinion so I feel better...(and closer to 1000 posts) I'd like to know how a $150 camera turns into a $1500 demand. When I put up cameras, I fully plan on it being stolen. If it doesn't, its a bonus. There are always going to be jackasses that steal what's not theirs. People make mistakes and you are young and dumb.

Many outfitters are knuckleheads as well. I totally understand why they were upset. But take back your camera and move on. I'd tell that outfitter he won't be getting a single dollar other than his camera back after they refused you trying to make it right.

Stand your ground man there isn't a dang thing they will do to you. You made a mistake and I have a lot of respect for people like that. Just don't make same mistake twice.

This post is hurting that outfitter a lot more than its hurting you I promise. Drop it bro and move on.

  3. Every year I follow this same exact thread with excitement for weeks. Then they finally come out and I ALWAYS say to myself "well that was dumb and a waste". I swore to myself I wouldn't do this again this year... And here I am.... Good luck to all

  4. My grand father passed away and gave me a 1929 LC smith double barrel side by side shotgun he shot his whole life. For my annual turkey hunt, I want to use it if possible. It has a 30" barrel. Can I shoot a turkey load out of it and will it damage my gun. This is my most prized possession I own and don't want to mess it up. I've looked online for answers but can't figure it out. Please advise... It would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Derrick

  5. I moved to Utah couple years ago and got drawn for a southern Utah limited entry turkey tag. I was hoping someone on here knows Utah turkey at all. I'd be willing to share some of my knowledge for anything in Arizona. I am hunting this tag on my way to NM for a turkey Hunt there starting on the 15th. I won't be shooting any of your birds since most of you are from AZ!!! Thanks in advance.

  6. I was hoping to AT LEAST have had the chance to see if I got hit for elk before the New Mexico deadline of the 18th. Now had to put in for both and pray. Expensive and risky...

I moved to utah last year and put in for all 3 states. You Arizona guys have no idea how good you have it with hunting until you move out of state. Utah is great but you have to deal with lots of private land problems.

    Good luck to all!!!

  7. Can you help me with mine? I have been trying to research now that this year I am a NON-RESIDENT and cant figure it out.

I have 3 bonus points. First choice 3a/3c archery bull, and 2nd choice same thing for 6a. What are my odds on both please for non-resident? Thanks!

  8. I just moved to Utah from AZ (not by choice) and just put in for the draw here. I put in for the Northern (1st choice), Cental 2nd choice. I am a HUGE turkey fanatic and would be more than happy to share Arizona turkey areas if someone knows Utah at all. Any help will do. The rules are so weird here...

  9. If it was taken legally, congrats. Who cares if its "tame". I think that those stupid hunting shows you watch on outdoor channel has more "tame" animals than this. How many times you see turkeys deer and elk in the same farm field and these guys are killing deer off of timed feeders. Give me a break. I give the guys props for being smart and shooting a beast. Much more respect for that then shooting a ranch/human timed fed deer. Think about it and remove jealousy from the picture. If he poached then he should face consequences.

  10. I think that deductions shouldn't be given for a deer in velvet. It is about the kill but it score adds to the fun of going after the 100" mark with a bow. And if you think about it, you woul have to shoot a 105" + buck that isn't even fully grown to go the 100 mark. That means that deer fully grown could be 108-110. That pic is easily noticeable that it could grow easy 1/2-1 inch all over. That's a big difference IMO.
