Loco, pre-runners aren't POS if you don't need 4x4. The newer "ugly" ones are actually a little taller then the 4x4s to help compensate for the 2wd. TBH, TIRES make a big difference. In my 95 Tacoma that was lifted and had wide tires on it, it had more street tires when we got it and they were pretty much brand new so we didn't see a point in getting new huntin tires. My dad and I were rigging and having some fun when we came to a pretty big water/mud pit. I was being a SA and told him he could go through first so when he got stuck I could push him from behind... Needless to say with both of us in 4wd, him with mud tires and a dog box with more dogs and the box itself weighing 3 times what mine did, he went through like a champ... I however got stuck and was laughed at while trying to get mine out lol. Snow is evil no matter what your driving. That's why in the winter my dogs turn into fat little piggies lol.

Oh they are for sure. But I can say this for sure. Before I got my truck I was looking everywhere for the perfect one. I stopped by Steve Coury there outside of Camp Verde, and I was straight forward and told them I worked for Hatch. I've never been treated so poorly for no reason other then working for someone that sells more vehicles with only one dealership. Salesman was rude and wouldn't even talk to me, and when he did, he kept telling me that a 2WD Nissan will go anywhere a 4WD Tacoma will... I got back in my car and left. Stopped by courtesy afterwards and they were some cool guys. Now if I show up during the day and Cody is still at work, I go stop by and we talk Toyotas and we share pictures of cool vehicles weve had come and go. Even though I am not in sales directly, I have an emmense amount of pride for the dealership I work for. I go out of my way to personally make sure the lot looks good, stickers are in and not hanging and all crooked, rows are straight. We have a lot of dealerships here in Show Low. And the ONLY one I even considered wanting to try and work for was the Toyota one. Even if I ever move and want to stay in the Internet Department of a dealership, it will be a Toyota one. I don't think I could ever work for a dealership that sells new vehicles I couldn't stand by and support. I may not like the way the 2014 Tundras look, have to wait till I see one roll off the truck, but they are tough, they last, they hold their value, and IMO, for gas engines there is no other trucks. The only diesel worth owning is Dodge lol.

I have an 08 Access Cab Tacoma, with the 6 speed manual. I also have a broke down 4cyl Toyota pickup. I had a 95 Tacoma with the 5 speed and I will never go back to the smaller V6. I don't think there is anything ugly about them either. Ugly is the new Dodges that are so low you get high centered on a speed bump. I work at Hatch Toyota here in Show Low, right now we have an 05 double cab, lifted, automatic. Out of your year range but if you would like to look check out our website. Call the internet director (928) 242-9007 if you see anything there you like. We also have some other makes but I completely agree with your choice to go Toyota. There a 2002 (I believe) Tacoma, but it is a pre-runner here. Not trying to sell you anything or sound like a salesperson. I also know for a fact that Courtesy Auto in Cottonwood ALWAYS has TONS of Tacomas on their lot. Hope you find a nice little Tacoma man, they are the best out there and they last forever. Only had mine for a few months and the only thing I will trade it in on is if a Double Cab TRD 6 Speed manual comes on the lot lol. Which is likely to not happen since they are unicorns. Ya hear of em, but ya never see em.

Looks like I may have found her a new home, thanks oz31p! And thanks Amanda for the forum, I didn't want her going somewhere she wouldn't be able to still go out in the woods, she loves the water and pines too much to just be a backyard hound

Hey everyone, I have a 2.5-3 year old Plott Female that I am looking for a new home for. She will NOT make a hunting dog. She was raised by a guy that had him and her sister and thought he was going to hunt them but found out it takes more time then he had, so he posted them on Craigslist. I went and got them and they didn't even know the names he gave them. I can now say she is without a doubt the best handling dog I own! She has great air brakes (You say her name and she comes!), She walks great on a leash (I don't have to put one on her but she does great on them) she gets along great with other dogs and puppies. She would make someone a great pet or shed hunting partner. She can be protective at times, I have had her be protective of me in the woods, I don't know how much damage she would actually do but she is extreamely loyal. I do not know if she is housebroken, she has lived outside for the past year but she is smart enough I am sure it won't be hard if you want her as an inside dog. That being said I can not promise she won't chew on furniture, I dont see her doing that, she's the only hound I have ever won't that has never spilled her water or chewed her house, pan, shade bored, ect apart. I have had her inside my car in the back seat and truck, both in a kennel and dog box and she causes no problems. She lays down in the car or sticks her head out when she is in a box. She will do great in a fenced yard without being chained out, I have had her in my "puppy" pen for the last month and she hasnt escaped or anything. She also does great with kids, my 4 year old can walk up to her and she doesn't try to knock her down or lick her to death. She won't crowd the food bowl when you try to feed, she will take food out of your hand without eating your hand too. She may bark a bit at first but she knows what Shut Up means and she has been trained with a Tri-Tronics so she knows what they mean. If you or someone you know is looking for a very sweet athletic dog please let me know. Not asking a re-homing fee, just if you live out of town you drive up here and get her or if you want to meet in Payson, Cottonwood, Flagstaff, or Alpine you pay for my gas there and back (Cost me about 45$ to drive to Cottonwood). I work Monday to Friday so the only days I can drive her to you is on Weekends. I am located in Show Low. She is the dog with the Yellow collars on in the pix. Thanks everyone. -Nikki

Hey guys/gals, I am looking for a Verizon Wireless Droid. Please no Iphones or Blackberrys. I am not picky on the Droid, all I care about is that the screen is not shattered or cracked, it has a battery that won't die constantly, has a clean ESN# and can be activated, and the camera works on it. Not really looking to spend over 100$ but I will take into account any accesories you have with the phone (cases, chargers, extra batteries, ect.) Please message me here if you have a spare phone layin around and would like to get a little cash for it. Let me know, I really appreciate it. Thanks. -Nikki
