Well I found a good spot that has views for a long ways today out scouting, but there are no trees to give me any shade, and I have the Oct. hunt, and it was hot as hellllllllll what do you guys use to keep your self from frying out there in the early hunts, thinking of a small blind, or umbrella atached to my seat. Anyone use them to stay out of the sun? or what do you use/thanks

Well got my leftover, only my 2nd year hunting deer in AZ. This is crazy to much stress!! spend 364 days a year planning/shooting to maybe get drawn or maybe not. I am lucky I live down south I am close to where most of the leftover tags are. If I lived in Flagstaff I dont know what I would do. I was lucky last year and got a 12lb spike , Was wondering if it was luck, so will try the same spot this year. I like it much better just going in and getting your tag, but I also understand why that would not work here. I was raised here, but did not do any deer hunting as a kid. I would rather hunt here than anywhere, but it is stressfull I got a end of October tag still new to this, so any help would be great. Good luck to all

Ya I have one on a XLR stocked 284 I was making hits out to 1200yds on some gongs like it was nothing in some pretty high winds. I contribute it to the scope, and reticle. Amazing glass

How soon after mailing in do you know what you got? I dont want to mail in for some reason screw up sending(early) wait, then miss the walk in, and not get a tag. I called G&F she said it would be better just to come in on the 6th, dont understand why, missing 6days of tags being handed out, but that is what she said

Not that it means anything, but I keep reading that they informed everyone to make sure CC were good. I never got such email?? Anyone have any idea why?? I did not get drawn for Elk/Ant/Javalina, and now deer. just wondering WTF

My first Coues hunt this weekend and I have none of it I have been sucsessful the last 20 yrs out east, but I feel as though I will be spinning my wheels in 36a. Been out scouting 4 times, hours, and hours of glassing, not even a glimps of a deer, or much else for that matter, so help a new Couse hunter out with some positive vibes. At least I will be hunting, and not at work

Not a great story like some of yours, just set up high seen 4 total deer 1 a spike, 176yds according to LRF shot him about 2pm under a tree 257 Weatherby. WOW these whitetails are small!! This was my first Coues, so I elected not to be to picky with only 3 days to hunt, I will try to get a pic up later. I would just like to make a couple of equiptment shout outs Vortex Kiababs EXCELLENT!!! Alamo Tri-pod EXCELLENT piece of kit!! Also thanks for all the help, I took a piece of advice from everyone that gave it and it all worked
