Yeah good round but when you compare to a 280 Ai and I am shooting a 150 grain bullet the same speed or faster as 25-06 117 just not my cup of tea when I have better blastics with the 280 ai. So that is what my option on it the energy retention is just not there from the 25-06. But I like the fact that I could shoot under 80 grains and getting as fast my 22-250. Shot that is what I am kinda leaning to

I plan on shooting coyotes with it maybe make it a close range deer gun depending on how it shoots

I have a 1 yr old savage axis rifle that has pretty much sat in the gun safe. I really didn't need two 22-250s. thought I would but it has just been sitting in the gun safe. I have only shot maybe 30-50 rounds through it and it has been cleaned after every 5 shots to help break the barrel in. I have a 3x9 bushnell scope and a pivot bipod that would come with it and 40 round of 55 gr ammo.also has the trigger lightened up. Seeing if anyone has a 7mm-08 that would like to trade with. let me know what you have I would put some money down if have to help offset the trade. thanks Jacob
