Thanks for the offers everyone, keep em coming. Lots of interested parties but no cash in hand yet. Might consider partial vehicle trades as well...

Have you ever missed a shot because of a steep angle?
ZJARCHER replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Contests and Giveaways!
Im also a victim of steep angles, haha... This years archery pig hunt! We were on a good sized heard of pigs moving at a good pace down a VERRRRY steep bowl/run. I ended up on top of a 30 ft tall rock structure shooting downhill at a pig 58 yards away according to the ol bushnell yardage pro 400. Not a tough shot typically, buttt I totally forgot to compensate for the steep angle. I let the arrow fly... Heard the arrow smack rock. ouch!!! Right then it clicked that I hadn't compensated... Took about 2 minutes for me to re assess for the angle, and the pig hadnt moved an inch! Let a second arrow fly and that one did the job. That 2 minutes of brainwork seemed like forever and I got REALLY lucky the pig stayed there! -
Just saw a complete stock set of suspension on phx. Craigslist...not sure if its still there or not. It was cheap!

I'm pretty sure its a Rez buck

I'd consider optics, firearms, atv's, utv's, or hunting stuff in partial trade... or?? Bump.

Good to see and hear this! We all know how frustrating it is to have someone tramp in during a stalk!

How Do You Pull Your Bow Back In Blind: TIPS?
ZJARCHER replied to Buck Smasher's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Same exact way I do when Im standing. Slow, straight back, oriented on the target. In my opinion, if you can't draw your bow sitting on your butt, you're pulling more weight than you should be. Way too often I see people doing the "legolas" draw (bow pointed in the air, shoulder dropped- rotator exploder) or the yank and jerk. Both of which involve WAY too much movement which means getting caught by the animal, and aren't conducive to the shoulder's health. -
DPMS is a mid-range AR. Thats usually about the high end of what they go for. Keep an eye on phoenix backpage. There are usually 1 or 2 a week that are LOADED for about that price.

Great buck man!

Anyone planning a bowhunt up north in January?
ZJARCHER replied to Airbusdriver's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
I hunt 10 and the 17/18 in January, how far north are you talking? It gets pretty nasty at times depending what type of roads youre on. The red clay stuff SUCKS. -
Headed to 21 to help a buddy. Scouting was SLOW. Tons of sign but hardly any movement. Saw very few bucks, but hopefully that'll change this weekend!
-
Shoot me a PM. We can build one for you at a great price. I can also get you lights (new or used).
-
I've gotta wait until January to fling arrows at 'em, but Ill be on the glass for a buddy!

If the moultrie takes 6v batteries and works well ill take it. Also, can you shoot me a couple more pics of the sony camera? Thanks!

Ever consider getting some suspension work done to the truck? I've got an 05 Cummins Ram with Carli suspension under it (coils, leafs, control arms, ball joints, king 2.5s specifically valved for the truck, and a few other suspension goodies) and its amazing the difference it made in control in the dirt! Granted, I'm still shopping for a Polaris Ranger due to the size/weightof the truck...

20B Archery Piggy for us as well! Congrats, guys!

Pretty sure Cabelas and BPS would both buy it. Might turn into a bidding war with that toad.

Like the title says, looking to buy a set of Vortex viper 10x50s (might consider 42s). Looking for a used set at a good price. Thanks! Brandon
