I stayed in the Best western there in Catalina 2 weeks ago helping a buddy on his archery Javalina hunt. Nice place $107/night. I have the rifle hunt coming up and I will be staying in the Nixon house at 3C Ranch. Give them a call. The room is only $85/night for 2 people. It is literally right before you get to the peppersause campgrounds on Mt. Lemon Rd. Link: http://www.3cranchaz.com/ Speedy,

Do guns reall "like" some ammo over others?
AxisWorks LLC replied to apache12's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I have befinatly noticed a big differance shooting from lead sled VS shoulder. I only use my lead sled during load development. Once I have chosen a load the zeroing is done from the shoulder. Speedy. -
Do guns reall "like" some ammo over others?

+1 for shooting what "YOUR" gun likes. In the OP you asked if anyone who has the same rifle as you has found a factory load it likes. Unfortunatly it dosnt work that way. You can buy two of the exact same rifles, in the exact same calibers, sitting next to eachother on the shelf and they can both like a differant factory load. Being a handloader and my brother and I buying a pair of the exact same rifles as described previously I have witnessed this first hand. Just keep a log of the groups you are shooting with factory loads and find out what she likes. Speedy. -
I used to be an Accubond guy... Then I found Berger VLD Hunting. However when I did load Nosler I only used Balistic tips for paper and varmits. Anything I planned on putting on the table was Accubond. (Accept for my .300 WSM whos magazine isnt long enough to accept anything with any kind of tip on it. ) I use the partition P.P. for this rifle.

By no means trying to start a pissing match but I am a fan of Bowtech and there customer service. Shot a Pro 38 for years and now the 82nd Airborne. Cracked a limb on the Pro 38 after about 4 years of shooting it. Called bowtech and they sent me replacement limbs and simpley asked for the old limbs to be sent back in the box the new ones arived in. Same story with my buddies Diamond a year latter. This is the sole reason I have stuck with them. Curious on the details on your experience and hope if I have another it dosnt turn out that way...
