  1. Only you know what will make you happy. But think, Your tag is filled and your done hunting once you have a buck on the ground and it's a long time to next January.

So true... Killed my first archery (first deer ever) on jan 4th and if I don't get drawn for elk I'm going to go nuts and broke on all the arrows I fling at jack rabbits! Hold out until dec unless you find a stud! I lucked out on my buck and would have shot a spike first chance I got but thats just me. Good luck

  2. I know I know... I could probably find this out in the regs but I'm too tired and its too late and I'm sure some of you are boored enough to do the leg work for me  Since I already killed my deer this year I know I can't can't kill another but can I buy a bonus point for the kaibab archery hunt??? Thanks for the patience

  3. Thanks for all the input guys, my flatlines performed flawlessly and made complete pass throughs both shots on my deer and I plan on using them again for deer in 2013. I know my arrow is too light for elk just wanted to see what you all are using, have been leaning towards the fmj we'll see. I refuse to buy mechanical broad heads, just too much to go wrong at the worse time "merphys law" which is why I like the montec, nothing you can do to screw it up, no blades to replace one solid piece and they fly true. Any other fixed blade one piece construction broadheads you guys can recommend? Going to see if G5 makes the montec in 120Grn. I'm thinking the 340 FMJ with 2" feathers and a 120 grn broadhead. Hopefully I will even have a reason to worry about this stuff, I guess we'll all find out in a few weeks! Good luck to all and thanks for the help.

  4. Need a pickup so up for grabs is my 2010 FJ Cruiser with "crawler" package. Rig has 37K miles. Color of rig is white. Asking $27000

    Automatic

    A-Trac

    Rear e-locker

    Front ARB bumper

    Rear All-Pro bumper

    Parking sensors and camera

    Premium sound

    OME suspension

Pro comp rims and 33 12.50 pro comp tires.

Rig is in excellent shape, some pin striping on the outside but will get it buffed out. Inside is excellent, have custom seat covers in the front since I got it so no stains or tares in seats. The thing runs great, plenty of power and decent gas mileage. May take a partial trade on an fj40 or 45. Will try and get pics up soon asking $27000. Any questions send a pm,text or give me a call

  5. Dad wants to sell and or trade a few of his firearms. He is looking to get a quality AR-10 16"-18" type so may be interested in partial trades or possibly strait across deals. I don't have any cash prices yet and am still working on the pictures so please bare with me. Also the firearms are located in Boise Idaho so either they will have to be shipped to your prefered FFL or wait for my father to visit which will probably be in Feb or March. Again the list I'm about to put up will be missing alot of information but I will update it as soon as possible . Send a PM or give me a call/text @ (928)308-0201. Thanks, Cody

  6. I've been lurking around the site for some time now so thought I would post my first kill!Went out to 23 today for the first time and had some luck. Missed a nice white tail @ 60 yds first thing in the morning:( glassed some other areas with no luck then decided to go for a hike in the pines. Got on a good trail and had a nice 4x4 muley come rite up to me. Shot him at about 20 feet and he almost ran me over had to dodge him hahaha crazy. Anyway watched him bed down and kept an eye on him for 30 min or so snuck back to the truck to grab some binos and water when I returned he was gone. Followed his blood trail over a ridge and then glassed him up. Once I marked the spot I backed off for an hour or so, then went to find him. I went to where I thought he was and spotted him bedded down, thought he was dead but wasn't sure so I nocked an arrow and headed towards him. Once I got within 10 feet he jumped up and hauled butt, I got him on the run @ 20yds and he dropped like a pile of bricks. First shot got some lungs and unfortunatley alot of guts, second shot was square in the heart.I'll post some pics up later but definatley a nice buck, first deer and first archery kill I'm stoked!

Thanks for all the kind words! I hope to meet you all someday and maybe hit the hills. Heres some more pics for you
