Looking to buy a remington 700 or 788 in .243 or .6mm this is for my dad he cant take recoil any more but wants to keep hunting even a youth rifle will work as i am going to build his stock on what ever rifle he gets i am leaning to the 788 but either one will work. Thanks Curtis 520-696-0834

Hello i have a call to the 788 on backpage but so far no return call. The 257 roberts would be great but my dad is not a reloader he is 72 years old and i dont think we will change him. my dad is right handed. Thanks we will just keep looking . hello the above calibers are long action for the 788 . I am going to look at the one on backpage this weekend but i would like to buy from a coueswhitetail member thanks. I like the lock time on the 788 it is a very accurate not that the 700 is not just like the feel for the 788 i am going to restock them with good walnut . Thanks Curtis
