New Vortex Talon 10K RF Binocular and Ace Weather Meter
Western Hunter posted a topic in Western Hunter and Elk Hunter Magazine
Last year, I focused on becoming a better rifle shooter; I probably shot 10 times more than I have in the past five years. The only time I can remember shooting as much as I did was when I was a small child, shooting birds off my mom’s feeders. To be honest, I think that’s where I developed my shooting the most. I wasn’t working on body positioning or building a steady platform, but I was dang sure learning target acquisition skills that I still use today. As a part of that process of trying to become a better shooter, I took a look at my gear and decided I wanted to try a few different things. Western Hunter posted a topic in Western Hunter and Elk Hunter Magazine
On a recent podcast with Exo Mtn Gear, we had a conversation about the most revolutionary product introduction in my 40+ years in the hunting industry. My answer at that time was the laser rangefinder. Even with months to ponder that question, my mind did not change. But if I were asked that question today, my answer would be the new ST/AT Balance spotting scopes from Swarovski. Made In America: Defiance Machine - Precision Born of Montana Grit
Western Hunter posted a topic in Western Hunter and Elk Hunter Magazine
When I started writing these “Made In America” articles, giving a tip of the hat to exceptional brands of our industry who manufacture their products here at home, my goal was to tell the story of these companies to give our readers a better understanding of who they are and what they stand for. To me, that sort of stuff means a lot when I’m deciding where to spend my money. The post Made In America: Defiance Machine - Precision Born of Montana Grit appeared first on Western Hunter. Redemption Ram - A fatal second encounter in Wyoming
Western Hunter posted a topic in Western Hunter and Elk Hunter Magazine
