Yeah that buck was posted here a couple of weeks ago. Looks like the first coues cactus buck I have ever seen.

Don't know what he scores by just that one pic but I will venture to say he scores a whole bunch. Great buck! Congrats loach

You're 100% right Bill. Wealthy hunters who buy special tags and hire multiple guides to scout and sit on an animal till they can fly in an kill it isn't a whole lot different. I have hunted high fence ranches and can say that depending on the size of the property and the cover it can be and sometimes is a more difficult hunt. I know I am setting myself up here but to each his own. I can say with all honesty that some of my easest hunts have been on fair chase public land hunts. Let the rock throwing begin.

Amanda, Thanks for addressing this. This thread is the second time this topic has come up. Did you know the coues sanctuary had a link to CouesWhitetail before this? Did they have to ask permission?

Legal or not it's just not right. This will open up the whole can 'o worms on hunting ethics. If hunters keep using "every" advantage available instead of old fashion "hunting" the way we were taught by our fathers and granfathers we might as well head down to the Coues Sanctuary.

Thanks very much for the info. I need to start researching a Sitka hunt maybe for next year. Did you see my pics I posted of Columbian Blktail. To bad the season is over when these big guys come out. I usually pac into the wilderness areas in northern CA for blktail. If I had a really good spot I'd trade a hunt with one of you down in AZ for a coues hunt. I've gotta find the spot though.

So very well put JACK. My wife and I have been going through a tuff time in our marriage as of late. She says if I put half the amount of effort into our marriage as I put into my hunting, (hunts, scouting, internet, gear, talking about hunting etc. etc.) there wouldn't be a problem.
