    .338 RUM Ammo

Fogger--post them on Craig's List if you haven't already--you will sell them there. If they were .375 RUM i would snatch them up in a heartbeat!
  2. Probably the most though provoking read i have seen in some time on any forum. Jason, thank you for the time it took to put your thoughts (many of our thoughts) to paper and share it with the world--now if only world would read it and understand the importance in your words. I know i will do what i can to move Mr. Obama out of the White House as soon as it can happen--heres hoping in 2010 the people of this great land opens their eye's and see what he is all about.

    Mike Kennedy

I wanted to let everyone know that we lost a good man yesterday. Mike Kennedy worked at Cabela's and was the big guy that had a slight limp because of bad knee's--he never complained. He always had a smile and a hand out to shake when i visited Cabela's. Mike was very much into the conservation groups in Arizona and he lived, worked and slept to hunt--he was truly one of us. Mike passed away yesterday at the age of 53 years and he never saw it coming. Please take a minute to pray for his family--as for Mike--well i am pretty sure i know where he is and he is just fine. Rest in peace buddy!! See ya when i see ya! The memorial service will be held Monday Dec. 21st 10 am Northgate Church of Christ 16612 N. 21st Ave (just south of Bell Rd.) Reception will immediately follow at the Church

    Happy Birthday TLH

Thank all of you for the kind words and well wishes. I am looking forward to my 51st year on earth--i know it will be very interesting and challenging but i have always been a little sadistic when it came to challenges so i welcome all there is to come. To a year of good health and love of my family and friends--heck, what else do we need??

Is this a wolf or hybrid?

That looks like a dog that has been taken care of. It is in very good shape, it has clean hair and it seems to be alone--wolves run in packs and if this one was all alone then i would think someone lost their dog.

    Duel in the Desert

You can't use "rebuilding" as an excuse now having Erickson that long already.... Sorry... he's a joke and over rated which is why he's such a great fit for aSU. Scoreboard.... Bear Down! Now Chris that isn't nice. And if anyone would know what a joke was you UofA guys would--that coach of yours is a real joke! he had his year and now it will be no more. Even a blind squirrel can find a nut sometimes. I really admired and respected the coaches of yesteryear but these dudes that both schools have now are truly overrated and overpaid. I would say that your beloved coach is a spaz and that would make him a perfect fit for UofA!

GERMAN SHORTHAIR POINTER PUPS NEW PICS

They are the best dogs in the world. i have owned a GSP for the past 20 years and i can't stand not having one of them. If i didn't have two dogs already i would take that top girl right now. Actually, they are both beautiful pups. Someone should snag them! They are awesome looking pups!
  9. Josh, Is that the one you said you wanted to shoot when your buddy shot the other buck?? He is a great buck!! I know you worked your butt off to get him too. Congrats buddy!!

    Info on 6A Mule Deer

Too many people in that area to do any good on deer. I would head south and stick to the ceder/pine regions. There are a lot of deer in that unit but there are a lot of people too--get away from the people.
  13. Sent you a PM--i have the same hunt and don't mind giving you a starting point or two.
  14. They are asking 800 for the non Mohawks and 900 to a grand for the Mohawks--i guess my 308 is worth more than i thought.

    Up close & personal

That hunter is Dwight Shoue-- i think that is how you spell his name. he is a stud of an archer and i think he probably got lung going in on one side--i bet the moose hung in there for a little while before going down.

    23 youth hunt

There will be two camps this year. The ADA will host a camp on the north that will cover a few units. Then we at the Arizona Hunter will host one where the ADA had it last year and that is the map that ACGUY posted.. We will have a great time again this year and i hope any of you who will be hunting the southern part will stop by and say hi or get some help with glassing up a buck or two. Jarrod McFarlin the WM and i have been talking a bit and it looks to be a good year for deer in 23S. There will be another group helping us with the camp as well. Please stop by and say hi!!

    Juniors-only hunts

have to give Tataat27 props here--he is asking a question that is a very touchy one at that. Obviously he wants to find out what we all think and you all have gave him good answers. Here is what i think about youth hunts: Youth hunts get the kids out of the house and around a camp fire--it shows them that there are people who are grown ups that are more than a person who goes to work and comes home (even worst--no Mom or Dad at all at home) they find out what it feels like to really be a human and not just a mushroom that sits in front of a damned video game or watches TV all day long. They know what it is to be out there and i think out there is something kids need! They also find out what the spirit of the hunt is and why we all love it so much--it builds feelings that we all have felt many times over and those feelings will cause them to be our next generation of hunters who will fight the fight and make sure our grandkids and great kids will have the opportunities we have today. Youth camps are set up so the kids know that the hunt will be all about them--kind of like Christmas to some--they wake up with that excitement that only kids can have at that age--they look to the guys that are there to mentor them and teach them and in turn they learn to share the love and build on the passion that must be had if we want to have this heritage we call hunting to continue into the next millennium. We will host a youth camp in unit 23 again this year (we being The Arizona Hunter) last year i was the youth director for the ADA and we had a great camp up there--The ADA will have a camp in northern 23 along with the areas around it and i can tell you that if you can make it to these camps and you can volunteer your mentoring skills to just one kid then you will understand the reasoning behind youth camps.. TaTaat27 i would like to invite you to our camp in unit 23 this year--come up and have a burger or two on us and do a little glassing for the kids--it will put a smile on your face and you will know why the game and fish and all of the groups push so hard to make these hunts a possibility for the kids (and for all of us big kids who want to live it again through the eye's of the young ones) [attac hment=17065:IMG_2788.JPG]
  20. What a beauty of a buck!! Can you shoot two deer a year in New Mexico? Reason i ask is because you said your Dad shot this one in January and he will be hunting again in November with a rifle?? Just curious. Very nice buck though!!

    Stolen F250 Diesel

It is harvest season i think. MY 2006 has been broke into and they tried to steal it twice. My truck has a delay relay switch and that is why they didn't get it. I ended up putting a club in mine whenever i am out of it and so far they haven't tried to get it again. It costs me 500 bucks every time these scum bags try to take that truck and i have a 500 buck deductible--so, it is out of my pocket every time. I know the club slows them down because i was in a movie two weeks ago and they took two F250's Super Duty 4x4's out of the lot that were parked two spots down from me. Sorry to hear about your truck--

    Bighorn Sheep information?

Garth Goodrich had this hunt i think last year or the year before and he was unsuccessful Garth is a darned good hunter and he knows his stuff. Gino--is this who you are thinking about?? Anyway--get with Garth if you can and get all you can get out of him about this unit. Garth said that in some places if you did shoot a ram you would never get him out--you just can't get to them Good luck!! Oh, and they can be had--i have seen at least two taken out of that hunt.
  23. I have a T/C Encore with the muzzy barrel on it--with a strap and the Nikon Omega MZ Scope that i will sell for $750.00 if you are interested. I have a Knight KRB7 that i shoot right now that "fits" me better.
