Obviously the dates on these pictures are wrong. These pictures are from the last couple of weeks from one of our stand sties in the Kaibab. Thought I'd share some of the pics from this camera that I pulled the card on. There is more than a dosen bucks on this one camera alone. Too bad no one will be hunting it come season...... No, only about half of those are Kaibab bucks. Others are from unit 7, 6b, NM etc.. Lance

No you cant get your tags at Jacob Lake. I wouldnt bother with the elk unless you already have some pre scouted and nailed down. The buffalo are around and its a really hard hunt with lots of other pressure from other hunters. but if you know what your doin or hire a guide that does then there is a decent chance for the archery buffalo! But the OTC buffalo tag is for cow or yearling only and will still count against your "Once in a Lifetime" AZ buffalo.... Congrats on your tags! In my openion, unit 10 is an awesome antelope hunt!!!! No need to point out spicific spots, There are good antelope throughout the unit! Yes, you need to have your eye on more than one buck!!!! Hunting isn't always about holding out for the biggest, but I think this tag is one not to be wasted on a lil buck. Its easy to fill an antelope tag in this unit on any given day if you can see and shoot. So if I were you, I would take advantage of the true trophy hunting opportunity you have!!!! You may not get the chance again.... at least not very often. So I would take the time and put forth lots of effort to find the ones you like and or the biggest ones (that includes learning how to reconize the big ones!!) And don't get trigger happy! Or maybe hire a guide to help you make the best of it. What ever you do, I wouldn't take this awesome tag and opportunity lightly! Make the BEST of it! good luck in what ever you do and remember to have fun! Lance

I saw one in 36A three seasons ago. Glassed it and watched it walk across the hilside. It was the more common dark or black version. Some times(more rare)they are tan ish. There seems to be sightings every year but aparently the G&F doesnt have a carcass for proof or something like that. IDK? Lance

Yes they are great guys aren't they! We were very blessed to be able to share their sheep hunt and their buffalo hunt with them! John took some awesome animals and his two sons took even bigger!! Just too much fun! Lance John's son Jeffery on the same hunt.
