    Any luck in "c"

I don't give a dang what you think I am. I just think it is dissrespectful to call another guy's gf names like that. Call who ever else you want names, but don't ever call me that again. You gross me out. You might want to re-evaluate your so called good looks I hear you talk about. Good luck on your so called guiding. Good luck. me thinks Casey is avoidin' that one!

    Late bloomers.....

Christian, that is the one I'm talkin' about and it's awesome! This buck I'm talkin' about was healthy and had no testicular problems like you would think. It was not a cactus buck, just runnin' behind schedule on his Couesie duties and hadn't started rubbin' yet. Christian, tell that guy to post up some pic's....I've bugged him enough about it! JIM>

    Hybrids

actually, that buck that bobbyo posted could go both ways......but if I shot it with a WT tag......I would tell the G+F that it was flaggin' it's tail before I shot and I couldn't see any other part of it's body aside from the rack! That one would be tricky with a WT tag!

    Hybrids

I believe it's a judgement call on the Warden that checks ya (if ya get checked). If you have a WT tag, your deer better have a big fluffy white tail! It don't matter how big body he is or if he has WT antlers or vice versa........the butt n' tail needs to match the tag pretty much

    Hybrids

Casey, I forgot about that. That buck had a very weird tail ( not as weird as that one posted above ) but it was definitely different. The tip to tip spread on this bucks ears was almost 21".......my buck this year was 16"! This pic shows the Muley characteristics that Casey is talkin' about, but antlers are never a good thing to judge in this case......it would have to be body differences that visually would prove it's a hybrid to any degree.
  8. Thanks again guys, I found another photo with all of us in it. We are tryin' to get T-Bone to sign up and get his story on here, he's got some great pic's and story to share also! I will say he made an incredible shot (1 yard longer than Shorty's) and impressed the heck outta me with his shooting skills....C'mon T-Bone, get on here!

    Guess the score.

Hey bobbyo, the dirty guys are the guys that know the score and are acting like they don't and throwin' in guesses I talked to Shorty and he's in CA but will post all the measurements tomorrow when he gets home. He didn't want everyone upset at him for waitin' so long.

    Hybrids

I'm not accusing you of anything, but I'm sure you had a Muley tag right? If not listen to what Gamehauler is tellin' ya. Welcome to the site and congrats on your mule deer! JIM>

    Guess the score.

BTW.........we never figured out the net score.

    Guess the score.

Ha ha ha! You guys are funny......I figured by me addin' that last post you would start changin' your guesses C'mon Shorty, what is it!
  13. COOSEFAN

    Guess the score.

I'm gonna have to figure out how to make this all work ........'cause just about all of ya are gonna want me to take your kill photos from now on after this!

Dennis, sorry about the negative feedback you received on your first post with us here. There is definitely a ton of guys on this site who would love to help you out..........you may not get their # 1 or even their #4 spots, but they will definitely point you in the right direction! I personnally know nothing about the unit so I'm useless to ya I appreciate the fact you took the time to share your photos with us and also to give us a little background on yourself.....I hope you stay with us and share your photos again! If you would still like for this thread to be removed just send me a PM. Thanks and best of luck to you and your son! JIM>

    Finally got him!

Am I seeing things or are those bucks related? Check out that character point on both! Looks like the same antler configurations just a few years apart in age? Freakin' outstanding bucks! Congrats! JIM>

    Shorty Bags a Buck...

I don't know what Pops is talkin' about.....hunting is life for me! The picture taking is the icing on the cake 'cause it means somebody was successful at the huntin' part of the deal We've killed 5 deer within' probably 800 yrds of where Shorty's buck is layin'! I killed my buck this year on the hill just in front of Shorty's bucks nose in his pictures! We kinda like this spot AND so does 500 other hunters, so it's definitely not a secret spot.....it's just a lot of bucks get overlooked here Bret, I would love to photograph you with a buck any day!
  22. That shirt is awesome! I really like the vegas gold color myself. Kevin's buck DEFINITELY needs to be on a shirt as well but there's just nothin' like a big ol' fat antlered critter like Josh's buck! That buck is a stud! JIM>
  23. That's awesome Lance! I can't wait to see the rack in your hands. I heard about it and wished I made it to the get together to see it! It would have been almost a 2 hour drive for us one way! I found bucks by going to the same places where we saw bucks last year and surprisingly found bucks in almost the same exact spots this year! I never realized how habitual they can be! Congrats on a great buck! JIM>
  24. Thanks guys, glad the video worked and I think it's very cool that you got to tag along with me that day by watching it! The tripod set-up that I use is nothing more than placing shooting sticks under the butt of the gun and resting the forearm of the rifle on my turned down tripod head. I leave the glasses on there to help stabalize the rifle also. You can't really see em' but the shooting sticks are under my arms as I'm set up for the shot in the video. I practice off this set up and i also practice the process of getting set up for the shot long before my hunts start.....this is a big help if you plan on shooting this way. I also use the GL2 camera and the one we used on this trip is in serious need of a thorough cleaning! The darn lense was very dirty as usual and it drives me nuts anytime the camera is pointed towards the sun! I should have learned to watch for that by now.....oh well, thanks guys JIM>
  25. Thanks for all the reply's everyone! I definitely ain't worried about wall space right now.......it's the taxidermy bill that I owe GTT that I'm afraid of! I just dropped it off at his house tonight and i got to hold his buck from last weekend......WAIT TILL YOU SEE HIS BUCK! Post up them darn pic's Bret Here's a cool pic........ look at all the bone on Shorty's truck! What a great hunt it was!
