I have the first Nov. hunt and just got back from a trip to Jacksons cabin. Ended up seeing a few bucks and several does, the bucks we did see were small. I like the copper creek area better and always see deer there.

36c is an all around great unit. You can find big coues bucks in the flats as well in the steep baboquivari mtns. I recommend starting off in the rolling hills and glassing with a good quality pair of binos. If you dont do any good there, move to the base of the mtns and glass. You should see a good amount of coues no matter where you go. You will also see a good amount of illegals also, so be aware. There are trails all over the unit that they travel. If you are looking for a quality animal, you need to do a lot of scouting. Hopefully this helps. Oh yea and be sure to buy a lion tag. 36c is where ive seen a lot of cats.

Is the gun still for sale?

Both, I'm not sure but there may be hunters in the area. What area is best to start? Is it just along the road? I might be out with a bow, that's the unit i got drawn for, for oct. rifle, the more scouting the better. Scout/Hunt during the morning for a few hours then help clean up?

The only problem with the 9th is the archery hunt is still on.

Missed a small whitetail this past weekend, hit low by about 1ft. Ill try again this coming weekend, good luck to everyone.

Does the paper go from 100 yards to 200 yards in 4-5 seconds or so? Not to say shooting a running animal is ok, but there is a differnce from a target compared to an animal.

Were you elk hunting, if so did get one?
