Was wondering if anyone new of any calling contests in the near future. I know about the one in taylor. any others. Looking for something to do until january.

I am an arizona native all my life. I have been a remodeling contractor for the last 10 years. We do all types from major remodels and additions to kitchens and baths. I also do all sizes of residential and commercial concrete work, flat work, post tension etc. We work all over the valley area and now are servicing the entire state if the job is right. I recentally started a handyman service for the east valley area for all your small job needs of any kind.
If im not building something i chasing Coues of course.

That is some bad luck. Just curious how that plays out with the G&F. Does he forefit his tag after not being able to recover the bull? Did he continue to hunt. Not sure how the law reads on that one. Whatever the outcome that is crappy for him not to be able to get him out.

Hey guys, I am a member of the National Guard, and am currently on active duty orders down here. As far as I can tell that is what you need to hunt Ft. Huachuca. I'm assuming you also have to draw a state tag in the same unit also? Anyhow, I was just checking to see if any of you have hunted it, if its better or worse than hunting outside the fort etc. Thanks in advance for the info. yotehey Yote: i saw your other post and you said you are going to college in glendale , a dentist college and you are in fort huachuca in the national guard?? wich one is it.

Yes you could post some pictures, but from my experience pictures don't really tell the story. I've seen some really good mounts look bad and vise versa. I think lighting has a lot to do with it.So kinds like at the bar, right? I have that problem all the time!!

post some pics we'll give some opinions....sorry you aren't too impressed with them. I would totally be sick not sure how i would deal with it. Have you talked to the taxidermist?

I have settled down a bit since last night. i have not contacted him yet. I was thinkning about canceling the check, but decided against it, I am going to go to his shop today and confront him about it and have a look at the rest of his work. Maybe the best he can do. I am use to Clay in payson doing my mounts. guess i was spoiled. Lesson learned.

you sure it's a pre 64? they made few in .300 win mag. sounds to me like one of the new ones they are fond of calling a pre-64 because they added a mauser extractor to em. if it's a pre 64 the serial number will be less than 500,000. Larkthe barrell says 300wsm. I will check the serial number tomorrow to confirm. I aquired the gun from a customer who couldnt pay me in full. Don't know what has been done other than what he told me. Thanks for the input.

just wondeing if anyone here has used taylor made taxidermy in scottsdale. I just got back two antelope and a coues buck. I am definatly not impressed at all. Just wondering if anyone else has hade any problem with his work. If someone has a couple of pictures they can pm me of the work he has done. I was refered to him by a friend that was happy but i never saw the mounts before i hired him to complete these. I will post some pictures tomorrow and see what you guys think, maybee im being too picky.

I have a winchester 70 pre 64 in 300 wsm. It has a walnut stock, stainless matt barrell. Has been fluted and bedded. Just wondering if anyone knows what it would be worth. I may be selling it to help fund my mexico trip this year. Thx Josh

I think we should kick in a few buck for each team to make it interesting. Maybe 50-100 per team and pay 1-2 place.??

How many people on this list would like to have a predator hunting contest? If so what would you like as far as rules?1 or 2 day with a common check only or have a common starting point as well etc. maybe then at the end a skinning contect? or cook out lets hear some ideas.

I just sold my '05 Duramax and have the tuner I used on it for sale. I paid 350.00 for the tuner, would like to get 250.00 for it, but I will entertain any offers.
Pretty sure tuners only work on one vehicle. They have memory to the vin when you first down load. I may be wrong.
