Wow, thats a great buck. Your daughter must be really excited. My daughter is twelve and shes going with me on her first archery hunt in Jan. I bought one of those two seater stands for us to share. She is really pumped, and so am I.
Hi Kristen, this is Ashley..I'm 12 right now; I'll be 13 in March. I can't wait to go hunting with my bow in Jan...! Congrats on your first deer! He's really wide! Nice job..! I went hunting with a rifle on a ranch in Texas in August and got a really nice Corsican Ram!

Well said little bear, and I have numerous plans to get him on the ground. Hoping I'll have another picture by the 16 to confirm he made it through the rifle season. I have seen him way to many time not to estimate score and I think he pushes high teens to 120. Hopefully have more pictures later.

Haven't seen him since right before rifle season started, hoping he is still waiting for me. I know The pics are not great at night and all, but how about some guesses on gross score. I've seen about four or five times in the field, he is a six by five. I can't wait to get in my stand come season!!!! Good luck to all you sharp stick hunters, Justin

I never bowhunt without a sidearm. I think my personal safety should come first. I have run in to many a border crosser, evan have them on my cameras. If a ticket ever comes I will fight it on the grounds of self preservation is above the law. Anyway I a much better shot with my bow.

Hey everybody I am a new member and I have a question. I hunted hard this season for a monster. I stalked him twice and the hunting gods did not allow me to close the deal. I believe I know where he will water in Dec.. Should I perhaps increase my odds with a salt set-up at the water hole. He can easily be rifle hunted and am doubtfull but hopefull I can hunt him again.

What an awesome buck. I would assume it came from a high fence ranch where the deer are being fed like the rich and famous. You know the ranches that a self-guided hunter like most of us can't afford. Did everyone see the elk on the rednecks car. Funny Stuff!!
