I'd say he's more than just decent! Thanks for sharing -
What I find really funny is the officer that commented on him saying that he is doing nothing illegal but that they are worried he is going to be shot during the hunting season.

Yes, contact game and fish and he can have a special permit issued so that he can actually shoot from a vehicle/handicap exception. Before anyone jumps down my throat about ethics...this is actually done. Last year my uncle was bucked from his horse and could not walk as a result of subsequent surgery (temporarily). Called game and fish to see what he could do about his deer tag later that year and they told him the could issue a special permit. He ended up not being able to hunt period but they will issue them. Guess your receiving some conflicting info though haha have him call the office.

I wish that if it went through on your card/check that an automated email could be sent out with your draw results. That way you would not have to wait. I know this could cause a lot more issues but it can be done. They need to update their technology anyway....why not update it to something much more efficient? I am sure though no matter what they do there will be issues haha...its the curse of any govt agency. I am really excited to see the results but I am not really that impatient and fortunately like many hunters I can take time off with relatively little notice.

G&F Update Regarding Draw Results
ready2hunt replied to kazpilot25's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Ya and with any luck I am the next powerball winner Gotta love the Game & Fish covering themselves -
This thread is cracking me up....I just fell victim to Pine Donkey's pic!
-
Bad news...from the looks of your first pic it appears you got other people in your spot What did the Cuddeback cost you? I was considering those

I am in East Mesa area. Those grave diggers look like they do some nasty damage though....I see why you wouldn't want them near your bag haha
-
Have you had a chance to shoot them yet? If so, let me know if they shoot like your field tips. The more I look at these shwackers the more I like the concept of the virgin blade deployment after the hide/bone penetration. I also like that they fly like field tips...I am really hoping to sink one in a deer this year

So according to game and fish the lottery is all done and all cards etc have been hit, its just a process of having the funds post and they will release the actual results? Did anyone else read that on the game and fish website?

Hey JIM Be sure to post some pictures...I consider myself a decent hunter and love that unit however I assisted my brother on a late rifle 22 hunt a few years ago and got a big slice of humble pie....only say 5 elk 1 bull and never got a shot haha. Guess that's what memories are made of
-
OHHH haha sorry I completely misread that...I was thinking dang, $500+ down the drain. Glad/still sorry to hear that you lost one
-
Is it just me or does it seem like AZG&F is actually slowing down with releasing the results lately...especially with the online service??
-
That is crazy! All 5? I love that unit and have cameras up there so that just pisses me off! Sorry to hear all of this
-
To keep my safe I place a camera and then another right next to it take pictures of the first....its fool proof Jk Trails cam with a locator on them would be awsome...even if they are crap it would be nice for people to be held accountable for stealing others property!

Many a man has lost life and limb for a Double Double Animal style with extra spread on the side! Hope he makes a full recovery poor guy. BTW your quote is hiliarous! Gotta love the Robertson clan

You should check out some of the pictures ELKHUNTER1 post in a thread I started "Mechincal vs Fix Broadhead." The entrance holes on the animals were so big I was convinced they were exit holes until I was corrected. I'll be the first to admit that I have not killed an elk with a bow yet however, I am pretty convinced by actual kills that they entrance holes are quite large. Again everyone has their own opinon. I have seen plenty of elk while calling that have scars that were clearly made by broadheads (mechnial or fixed) many of them were perfect shots in the vitals, obviously nothing is a garuntee. ELKHUNTER1 or anyone else........Are there any videos on testing the shwackers penetration? I looked on youtube but didn't find to many. For example there are videos posted where people shoot broadheads through barrels or balistics gel or even layers of wood to demontrate durability. I know that we are not hunting steel barrels and wood but they are always interesting to see and compare. Just curious

Is that a bobcat in pic #5? The tail looks a bit long to be one but I am no expert

its a politicians way of pleasing a group that will support re-election and appearing that they have done some "good". what a load of BS!
