all purchased to work up a 7mm STW and a .308 rifle. Bullets are widely available now so prices may be negotiable.

  2. Hey Jed, Mike P. told me about this just today! WOW, Congrats and well deserved, You have always been a stand-up guy and let history reveal You sold me my first Bow and I haven't looked back since. It took 14 years for my first Bull, and what a hunt. I am figuring this is your best, Wow, what a Bull...........Speechless. Great Job!

  3. This year was going to be "The Year" to get some payback after last years fiasco that landed me in the hospital after rolling my 4 wheeler only a few hours in opening day. I drew the same tag and on one day glassed up a dream buck at about 0830, hiked up to and around the backside of the mountain we last saw him and found him bedded about 1pm. Set up for the shot, 368 yards, extreme downhill which I have never had experience with before, squeezed and missed? he was northbounnd at mach 6. Five Days later same mountainside, same buck, we watched him go around the mountain and found him bedded within feet of the same place. Setup for the shot which would be within feet of where I missed him before, this time 375 yard extreme downhill again, missed! Watched him walk then bed again. two more shots and 2 more misses, been out everyday since and can't relocate him. The buck of a lifetime gone due to extreme angle shots and not being familiar with how the bullets carry at those angles.

  4. After 14 years of Unit 1 as a first choice finally drew the tag also. As far as the Rage Broadheads, saw them in action last year and was sick with their performance on angled shots and rib hits. Magnus Snuffer SS 100Gr out of my Reezen shooting 293fps. Shoot like darts to 40yds! That's all I need.

  5. 2009 Mathews Reezen, 27.5", set to 72 lbs, GoldTip 7595's with Blazers, 100gr Magnus Snuffer SS, Mathews Drop Zone, Fuse Quiver, Fuse 6.5 Carbon Connection, Spot-Hogg, 5 pin wrapped Hogg-it Hunter, Scott WildCat RCS.

After 14 years of applying for this unit as a first choice, ( we have drawn one tag since) Unit 1 Bull tag. Hopefully a great story to post come 11/24????????????

  6. I shoot a 30 year old Winchester Model 70, Trigger set @ 3lbs, Bell and Carlson stock, Leuopold 4x9 scope, My buddy loads a 165 Accubond for me. Haven't used the 165's on Coues yet but took a few loaded with a 150 gr. Nosler ballistic tip. I am trying to get an "all-around" load because I would like to pass this gun on to my son, then purchase possibly a Kimber Montana or a Browning Rifle, I have been debating on the caliber, but either 7MM WSM or 300 WSM?
