Met another coues memeber WFGinNM, my son and I went with him and his son to his cabin up in jemez to do some turkey hunting and we didn't have much luck but we did had great time! and WFG and his son are great to be around, made new friends! hope to go with them again in the future! my son Zach is 5 yrs old. he had fun! he walked down hill and up hill till later on he wanted to go home to play with his another brother. he was carried by WFG on his back! we saw lots differents of tracks, bear, bob cat, turkeys, deer and elk! zach was so excited when he found the deer shed, (spotted by WFG)

like hunter4life said.. I got my on open day few years ago...went last year with my cousin and he bagged very nice 5x5 on his first elk huntin..not too far from one designation parkin...and going again this year and hope we ll hold for class 300 bull

saw few whitetail deer near Conchas and Ute lake..that was last month, but it was in unit 42..so I am sure u can find few near Texas border between Clayton and Amistad...look out for Feral Hog also...they have few... good luck vinihunt

yes on public land...saw when huntin for deer in Nov..then went back in Feb and got one...I have killed 5 so far..the pic u see is now mounted and measured 38" that was year 2000...I think... vinihunt
