Wyoming bird hunting?
Shedhunteraz replied to Big Browns's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
We will be in alcova also starting oct 3. Looking also -
OZ31P( tim) and myself took the kids ( 6 year olds) out for some glassing. You know when your wife and yourself have done something right when you can wake a kid up at 4 am, 2 am for tim, and take them out glassing for 3 hours and they don't get bored. We are blessed individuals to have wives that gave us such awesome children, and they too love the outdoors as much as we do. Thank you ladies. P.S. Yes they both have their own tripods and vortex glass.

Aren't you a Mechanic? Don't you work on YOUR FORD ALL THE TIME? LOL. You should know best then.yes I'm a diesel mechanic no my Ford don't get worked on all the time. Aren't you driving a rental right now cause your gmc lives at the dealer? Listen here numb nuts, mine is software problem not mechanical. I'll remember that when i leave you rear end in the middle of nowhere on our elk hunt.

I think i may have to go get my head checked on this response, actually on my way now. I agree with BC777 on trying to help out a fellow hunter. Kudos. I would proceed with extreme caution on this. If you all recall, we found a downed bull in 23 last year and tried like heck to find the owner. After a few days we found them but the whole story seem sketchy. Long story. Any way point of my response was a G&F officer sitting outside of the area where the bull was shot for hours, somehow they new from our posts and responses the general area. They are always watching. Its a very tough call on reporting because of the many different opinions of G&F. My advice is if you know the Officer in that area, try to find the owner but let the officer know as well. You don't have to give the location. In the end depending on the officer he may let you take it after the season closes anyway. Just my two cents

Talked to Gino he is going to take it. Will let you know if deal falls through

Dude that bull is awesome. Very very good looking bull. Huge congrats to you one heck of a trophy. Can't wait for the story.

Decently lightweight and very sturdy, Slik Pro 724CF. Tried the 824 and to heavy. I run the outdoorsmans dual head on my and love it. Have gone through some very expensive tripods and heads to figure this combination out. The outdoorsman medium tripod wasn't the greatest at full height with binos and spotter on it very wobbly. At lower it was ok. So i gave to our 6 yr old. Kid loves to sit and glass.

I have a rifle hunt in unit 23. If your hunting alone. Pm me if you need help packing out. Its very rough country and spotty cell service at best. You have to know the unit well or have sat phone. My wife shed hunts alone in 23 twice a week but its personal preference. Let us know if you need help if i am not there i can make it form one house to the other in an hour 15 and help you out. Good luck
