I have almost the same setup as you. But now mine is at gunsmith getting some upgrades. But we ran H1000 72.2 grains and sst 162. but 1/4 at 200yds. I also have 8lbs of ram shot magnum that I am not going to work if you would like to buy that from me I think its minus less than 1/4 pound. Just .02 is find what your gun likes. IE: power , charge, bullet and brass and stick with it. You have a very good starting point. Good luck

YOU ARE A DUMBA$$ and you need to understand camping 200 yds from homes and starting fires in the middle of the day is nothing less than a recipe for disaster. GET A BETTER SLEEPING BAG THEN IF YOUR COLD. I LOVE MY HOME. YOU BURN OUR AREA ILL HUNT YOU DOWN.

I agree with TIm on this. I have met one of the nicest guys on the planet this way. AND no I wasn't next to the road, I was in about 1 1/2 miles of the edge of rock face of a canyon. I was startled at first. I introduced myself and said I will go down about hundred yards if you don't mind and he told me no set up here. We talked and come to find out he is a guide and the nicest guy I have ever met in my life. Went out of his way to help me and even come up for the day to show me spots for my sons first elk hunt in a unit I have never hunted. I am blessed to have met him and call him a friend. I guess my point is its all who you meet out there and if they are about themselves or the love of hunting. Best of Luck.

I know quite a few of you go burned by Jeff Paulson and I was one of them. Luckly one of my best friends wife is his sister. Needless to say after a lot of back and forth we are getting close. Tom got put into a really bad situation and is just trying to make everything right for everyone at little or now payment to him. he is trying to salvage his familys name that his brother almost destroyed. I just wanted to update you all who have talked to tom about your prized animals. They are in line and the guys is trying like heck to get them all done. He sent me pics of my bull (which my first and only) and wow he does some amazing work. I know we have lots of good taxidermist on here but he stuck to his word and is trying like heck to take care of everyone eventually and all mine will go to him to help him build his business back up. Here are a few pics of it almost done. He isn't a giant but he is my first trophy.

Oh one more, When you set up shop on top of someones camera and then proceed to put up a tree stand only to attempt to spit on that someone as they walked by. If you see this truck be aware of him. He likes to camp out on other peoples cameras and spit at people
