Um I think its time to delete this thread. Way so much going on and being said with some rather vulgar language. Very sad it got this far off topic. Amanda can you please delete

Yeh what he said

Who said I picked it up? Just going out shed hunting with a buddy.
-
Well thank you to all who helped out. I just got off the phone with the gentlemen's friend who was with them on the hunt. It is their bull. They lost the meat but know have the bull. He will be up tomorrow to pick up. You cant ask for a better site with some of the best hunters and people. Thank you to all that got the word out and this one to its owner in less than 24 hours. Awesome. God bless.

Tell that to the guy who hunted his rear off and im sure longer trying to find his bull. I sure hope there are people like us and other coues members who would do the same around if you every drop a bull and cant recover it, and then it is found. Why on earth does it matter how big it is? We just want this hunter to get his bull back.
-
No that wasn't him. I am absolutely floored at the amount of pms we have got that people lost bulls. we know of 5 that got killed in 23 n. and now 5 that have been lost. Very very sad

What a great buck! Congrats to your son.

When we find the owner I will leave that up to him. Not going to take away from someone else's hard work.
-
Uh yeh and kittys

No. Just some brain matter left. Just want to get it back to the hunter that put in the work. He can do what he wants with it

Any bull I have down on the ground at the end of the day, that my wife and I worked our tails off scouting for months and didn't have to pay someone to "show" me where he was at. WAY too many people get caught up the biggest bull in the state and 400 inch bulls. At the end of the day if your not happy taking any animal the good lord has allowed you to take and not be overjoyed you really need to find another hobby.

Oh those are some pretty mountains in the back

That is a great story and can be very proud you son has those ethics at such a young age. Great story and great bull, one you all can be very proud of.
-
Good ole Valentine Bulls. Nice job guys. Great looking bulls.

I tend to put out and pull cameras according to my hunts and ones around mine.

Hey Seldom, due to obligations with one of the special Coues tags we decided to book only a couple Elk clients this year. We had an incredible archery hunt in 9 and almost killed "Scratch" (aka Rhino) ourselves but like many times in the past we just didn't have that last bit of luck on our side! We've hunted that bull hard for as long as Mossback has and I can tell you that was the smartest bull I've ever hunted by far and I bet they'll agree!!! I don't know of any other bull that's had that long of a run with the best elk hunters in the state after em'! As much as I hate seeing Mossback's logo on that picture, I gotta say they earned it and I'm happy it was them and not just some random hunter that had no clue what he killed. Congrats to them and the hunter, I know they all honor and respect that bull as much as I do! JIM> As always Jim, you are a stand up guy!! I don't think there's anyone on here that wouldn't have rather seen Mullins get that bull!! +1

Great story. great bull -
No body here bashes big animals, so stick to the facts. This is a site that is made up of average guys sharing their passion. We like to see big animals and hear the story. Let me say it again, a story. Ya know the blood sweat and tears. Months of preparation, scouting etc.... Not just flaunting pictures of the governor or raffle tag. No one ever said guides/scouts don't work hard. Don't get your pannies in a bunch. Yeh what he said. LOL
