Went to check to check the cam today, and it was stolen. Karma is a b****!!! Looks like its time to make some boxes.

here is what we found in the last week or so....all the deer sheds are from this weekend, and 4 elk..2 brown 2 chalk. The rest of the Elk sheds were from a week or so ago .

That is exactly where it was. In a small dry runoff creek next at the bottom of a large mountain. I think I am too much of a weenie to try to kill it, my luck I will miss and just anger it. Hate snakes!!

Ok, saw my first black rattler yesterday while hiking. I hate snakes so much, and it scared the snot out of me. Then my brother came across one today. Look like my hikes will have to be in the very early morning hours. Darn snakes.

Could have been me. PM me. I've only come across 2 cams, and I've never found anything near them.

The elk sheds are all from the past 6 weeks. I have a awesome brother (average joe) that taught me how to be a great hiker/ shed hunter.

Went out with my son this weekend. Found nothing all weekend, then Saturday evening on the ride home we spotted one. Picked it up, walked 50 yards and found another ( different bull). It was already almost dark, so we had to head home. Sunday morning we went back to the same area and found 3 more, all different bulls. Never found the matches, but it was a great weekend.

today's finds

They finally posted no camp fire signs up in 23. Forest services were patrolling all day.

Appearantely there was a "small" fire started this afternoon off Colcord rd. by campers. It is under control as if now, only 5+ acres burnt. I do not understand why people would be having a campfire under the circumstances, and with being so close to homes? Is it really cold enough for a fire.... I think not.

Got drawn for 23 late rifle. First elk hunt should be a blast. Thanks to my wife for doing some early scouting for me. Thanks Babe

Saw this when it first started up Friday as I was out hiking. Hope they can get all this under control. Anyone know if it jumped 512 heading west?

Saw 2 today, with fuzz. They dropped in Payson area. Picked up a fresh mulee today.

I will have to try photobucket. When on my desktop, it says photo size is too large. I guess I resized them too small. Going out again this weekend, hopefully I will find something. A match would be wonderful, I have YET to find one.
