When I set a camera at a water hole I use the time lapse and set the camera way back from the water ,many times up high in a tree! Prefferably back far enough to monitor the entire water hole and set it to take 2 pic every 5 or 10 minutes daytime with a large gig card its good fo a month! Set ups like this are way less likely to be messed with! I also have used decorative plastic barrel cactus (Micheales artsy fartsystore) that are just big enough to put a small cam into.... These have never been stolen by a human, once a bear picked it up and moved it and I was lucky to notice it when checking a trail by the location! Always wash my hands before setting or checking cams and spray down cam and area with scent eliminator - Bears zero in on cams that have odors of humans on them!

Now what about that white doe on here last week !!! I suppose that was racist too!!!!!!

Yes I agree - DNA technology has progressed and is way more accurate and cheaper than when the "Mexcian Grey Hybrid" introduction began!!! (Note that I call it an introduction) !! I would like to see an unbiased testing of all the animals that are availible or become availible ... I believe this would be a great way to put an end to this worthless program...

Mark Healy has had suceess and Dave Martens killed one at nite last Oct .... Dave also killed one in March in the daylight hours.... Dave probably knows more about calling lions than anyone locally..... Steve Craig is rumored to have plenty of success but he is difficult to contact....DTone is another caller that has killed 3 lions two of these were when he was with Dave Martens! My guess is Mark Healy is the best/easeiest to get in tuch with... This is his Blog!

Governors tag = A premium hunt.....! Why raise the tag fees or sell more tags to shorter hunts to raise a few $ ....Just issue a few more governors tags for the monetarily elite! Making more tags for shorter hunts only creates hunter pressure/interference! I hunt to get the heck away from people and I never have or will put in for any combat hunt in AZ or any other state! If I want a combat hunt I can go to any number of the eastern states and hunt elbow to elbow with beer drinkin Bubba! The practice that the fees generated by the AZGFD are a source of revenue for the states general fund goes against the goals of responsible game and environment management .... The AZGFD was the only state agency in the black and then the politicians robbed the sportsman by sweeping the AZGFD funds into the general fund ....Now money is an issue that decides how many tags and what kind of hunts there are!

Well it's been a week since I heard that letters and phone call were sent out to right the perceived corruptions of Shawn Wagner's elk hunting adventures! NOTHING ON THE NEWS !!! NOTHING COMING OUT OF THE STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL OFFICE! Well its either a big government conspiracy coverup ......! OR ......Maybe the legal minds at these agency's analyzed the case and didn't see anything worth pursuing! . Still nothing!! Only armed revolt with a focus on cleaning out the senate , congress and all of washington and starting clean will make any noticeable changes! The prez dosn't do all this himself he has plenty of help from both Republicans and Democrats! Glad to be of service....And I will be more than willing to appologize if this case gets re-tried/re-investigated or even gets any media attention! Even the media has legal experts review things like this and are much better at it than a bunch of redneck hillbillys like us! Hey richardoutwest re read that part about Larry Voyles conclusions , the investigation was "criminal in nature" .... This is why Mr. Wagner won his suit! The Investigation was not following the protocall according to the law!....Romero and Ordway were on a whitch hunt and stepped on their own dangling loose ends because they jumped to conclusions and did not file the proper paperwork/documents! The court hearing is what brought about the disiplinary actions and did not cover up a thing.... Some of the reason why more were not disiplined was due to the time line as there is a limit as to how long after an inciedent report that a charge can be filed!
