    The young hunters growing up with this August fur bearer season are not being led by a very good example.... We know 99% of these August "harvests" are never put to use so why are we teachin the shorties to kill for the sake of killing! Can't be raisin our pups poorly!

    This rule change was put into place during Mr Napolitanos rein of corruption .... Next AZGFD meeting I attend I will bring this topic up and request a rule change or at least an explaination of why it was moved to August!

    I agree. The Fed's, and the Politicians are walking all over us. The problem with this country, is there are more stupid people, than there are smart people. That's how Obama got elected.

     

    The Fed's get away with it because "WE THE PEOPLE" are doing absolutely nothing about it, and the corruption in Congress has run Carte Blanche.

     

    Us hardcore conservative, antidisestablishment types, are a dying breed, and the Liberals are just waiting for us too die off, so they will have total control. I will be glad I'm dead when that happens.

     

    As far as I am concerned, our Government made the Obamacare law, and They should all sleep in the bed they made. Obama included. They all know what a disaster Obamacare will be, yet they want to ram it up our rears anyway. Hey Congress, how about some KY Jelly for everyone?

     

    Our country is run by D-Bags.......... to the Nth degree.

    I like what you sayin but what can "WE THE PEOPLE" do other than vote in/for more Senators & Congressmen who sell us out ..... Armed revolution is just around the bend!

    Lol, let me guess what the rifleassclownman had to say; "I'm right, you're wrong, you should do things MY way or you're a terrible hunter as well as a horrible human being!" Was I close? Lol, I was close huh? I blocked his butt a while ago and I can honestly say that I like this website a lot more. Hey I know! Let's everyone put him on our ignore list so he's left to talk to himself! Maybe then he'll see the error of his ways. I doubt it though...

    Fur aint prime yet , aint worth skinning Taxidermist will throw it away and get a winter kill from a trapper or a caller who knows whats up! Then charge you a little extra on the job.... Probably slip when you strectch it.... In my book anyone who shoots fur bearers in August is a Jackwagon! Why shoot it if ya aint guuna at least skin it for the pelt!

     

    Used to be October before you could shoot fur bearers ... Stupidist rule change ever!

    The website is very well put together and worded in my opinion. These new rules and permitting with make the Big Bo in unit 10 a very premium "spot and stock only" location for Arizona. You have to pay extra to play, and you have to play by strict and old school rules: no hunting on water, no attractant, no cams, no atvs, no large envoys of guides for one hunter... Success will obviously go down for several reasons, but there will be more mature trophy animals that live longer as well. I think I like it for this one special ranch circumstance.

    Who say's that spot and stalk is the only "old school way" ....You obviously don't know a thing about "old school ways"!....You are another youngster who thinks thier way is the only ethical way to hunt..... IMHO!

    The AZGFD and the BLM need to grow a pair and stop allowing the Navahos to dictate new law/rule changes for federal land and state owned big game animals… So who will enforce the new laws??
    So I decide to put a camera up on a wallow on BLM land in this area and put a blind up and sit in it! …. Along comes Navho Joe or Boquillas Bob and decide to take my gear and write me a citation on BLM land! Sounds like a legal nightmare!!!
    The AZGFD need to sop issuing tags on the Bo and until they do we should boycott unit 10 hunts!

    I will have to remember to recomend the borders of this area as a great poaching area , don't forget to bring your silencer! "GET SUM" !

    I have a better Idea lets put Wolves in there!!!!

    How can I refuse a drink from Tommy. He makes the best lemonade I have ever had even though sometimes it's darker yellow than normal and smells like sulfur it still taste good. To the guy that said my story was retarded it wasn't meant to be read by people that are up tight and think Larry the Cable guy is the only funny guy in the world. I was just trying to put old Tommy at ease because he gets real wound up about stuff like this and worries so much it will make him sick. If I am the only one who gets my humor then that's fine with me. Nobody ever said I was close to being normal. Tommy is one of my best friends and I like to make laugh. Besides he is like 4'3" and looks like an Umpa Lumpa little feller and has a heart of gold. He would give you that Childs Medium shirt off his back if you needed it. I know because I ran out of toilette paper once but thank god it only took a couple wipes. Now that is true friendship right there and I am retarded and can still recognize it.

    Retards amake me laugh....LMAO..... :lol: :D :P

    Man I guess I should have got on here sooner. Talk about a joke gone wrong! Oops. Sorry Tommy just trying to have a little fun so I put your trail cam in a lock box to see if u were smart enough to notice.i will give u a key when I come for supper Friday night. I bet the menu for dinner Friday has changed from some nice Porter Houses to wild Donkey roast with a little bit of tire tread on the side. Then for desert those yummy marble sized chocolate balls. It's weird how your whole family is allergic to chocolate but you go out of your way to make them for me and my family. They smell terrible but taste pretty dang good. They are a lot better than those stinky prickly pear berry chocolate pecan logs you made that one time. Those seeds got stuck in my teeth and my breath smelled like crap for two weeks. See u Friday bud and I won't forget a key.

    Every year it seems to get worse. Won't be long before trail cams are banned from waterholes, tanks, seeps, springs...etc. Something to the effect of "no cameras within 1/4 mile from any water source". New laws go on the books every year and this wouldn't shock me!

    Seen the latest Reg's?

    Are you inferring cameras are banned somewhere? Post it if it's relevent!

    If they banned cameras for waterholes then they would be banned for every where both remote or hand held , as it is now the law protects the right to phtograph , video , record in public domain except bathrooms and such.... They already tried this in other states and it has been beaten in court! Somthing about freedom of expression and photograhy being an art form ect....

    Tough call, I would not take thier camera because I could never lower myself to take something that is not mine. If I had another cam I would place it to get a picture of them and also leave them a note explaining what happened with my number. If they did not call I would place thier pic up all over the Internet if I was able to capture a pic of them. Like I said tough call, but I would never take what is not mine. I'm sure you have justification on whatever you decide. Good luck!

    +1 NEVER TAKE WHATS NOT YOURS! At this point I would put out several cameras watching the road/trail in and camera's watching cameras watching cameras leave them a note with a contact number! Document all of this with GPS , pictures of your cameras and save it to make a police report! Leo's wont do a thing unless you have doumentation of what was stolen,where it was stolen and when! Some on here won't agree but just try it! If you know a local Sherrif maybe call him with a heads up!

    Prickly Pear juice seems to be made for grilling chicken....

    "Easy" way to make it, Pick the red ripe tunas, (Santa Rita prickly pears give the best flavour), burn off the spines over gas stove holding with SS tongs, crush in a strainer (two Chinaman hat shaped strainers work best), pour juice through a piece of cheese cloth (to get any remaining spines out), bring to a boil, then over med heat reduce till it starts to get thicker, put in an empty wine bottle... Also makes a good refreshing drink when added to water, lemonade, or vodka...Enjoy...

    I bought a quart of fresh frozen...$15 a little goes along ways...When you boil or pasturize it most of the healthy stuff goe's away , the raw juice has enzymes and micro fiber that are lost when boiled or filtered!

    I used to harvest and squeeze Prickly Pears with an old mop squeezer, made my own jelly and drank alot of it mixed with iced tea or cranberry juice! Most folks are skeered of the spines or it being a wild plant and over process it ! Cowards! ..... Raw juice juice is the best way! I dont boil my fresh squeezed orange juice so why boil the prickly pears!!! ?
